Furniture Material drop rate feels a tad too low.

The prices are low enough to buy the mats now (200-300g a piece), although heartwood is still too expensive (~600g).

The bigger issue has been finding blueprints. Nobody is selling the really cool purple plans or items. I check TTC several times a day as well as do a run between all the major trade cities, but nothing but the selection is abysmal. You'd think that after a week, there would be more plans/items on the market.

    Stuff I'm specifically looking for:

    Redguard Bookcase, Full
    Redguard Bookcase, Piled
    Redguard Bed, Full Lattice
    Orcish Table, Grand
    Redguard Armchair, Cushioned
    Redguard Bed, Full Arched

If you have any of these prints or can craft the items, I will pay generously

I think a lot of people will be hording their blue prints for a bit until they figure out what they are worth. Especially, blue and above.

I am hording my blue and above because not sure if I want to sell them or use them.

Im sure after awhile the patterns and such will spread about in due time.

I also believe the drop rates are very low. I also think it takes a lot of materials to create a cup.. xD. I mean.. can't I just steal a cup.. please?

If you plan on selling, sell now!

Impatient people like me were paying 50k per blue print on the first day. They're already below 10k a piece now.

My crafter is learning every single blueprint I find as soon as I get my hands on it. I refuse to buy any homestead things because prices are outrageous. If that means my characters sleep on a bedroll on the floor, so be it.

I cheated and built a little platform to put my bedroll on :P cost me most of my mats at the time, but.. worth it. sleeping on a floor is ... for camping.

The drop rate is frustrating, but if they made it possible to get the new mats from refining raw mats as well, I think that could be an improvement.

    That would make sense.

whats next crowns for your resins and tempers because of the grind

xp,cp, ap and your worried about a grind in the game?

its amazing how many guilds are releasing their stash of 1000's of the like to the market now. they drove up the prices for everything in the first place with their buying out and you can bet they are doing it with these mats too.

Last I saw, in the top trading guild in EU PC the MM prices of regulus was around 500g per item. I suspect that others are around similar figures of 300-1000g. That will drop substantially within a month as the market is flooded with people farming and selling what they get. I'd estimate prices to drop to around 50-100g per item by Easter, spurred on with the release of materials with the Jester's festival which would make things affordable to practically anyone looking to craft items from the blueprints they find.

Similar prices on NA, the prices will drop if they just give them to everyone. i don't think the markets really the issue though, its that everyone whats their shizz pimped like right now, that will drive people to crown store, lack of patience not the mat prices or availability as such.

I do apologise to an extent, i can be a negative creep I know
There are some heavy material amounts required that's for sure but as for this housing thing, as it is, I think its fluffy and so it's a non issue for me. ill be sitting my self-righteous as in our guild hall so hypocrite me.

I'm a little defensive of my profession as gatherer of the things when crowns threaten to make even that pointless.
It's really the only grind I actually enjoy at the moment and one that also provides a steady flow of income for my own selfish needs.

Give it a week and that stuff will be all over the place. Not everyone is going to craft furniture, so personal drop rates will stack and drop the purchasing prices.

It's a tradeable mat, so trade it.

I think the major issue is the combination of a low drop rate from one source only with a high requirement for mats, if we got mats from hirelings, surveys and writs it would go a little way to easing the grind, I love housing but at the moment all I am doing is farming mats - no pledges, trials or much else and even doing that after hours of farming I can only make a couple of items. I have bought crown furniture, but the real fun is in making my own plus the cost of furniture items is a tad steep

Let prices go up above 100-200 per piece and people might actually start farming it. Right now it's not worth anyone's effort except for the people doing it for themselves.

    Drop rates are fine.
