I think a lot of people will be hording their blue prints for a bit until they figure out what they are worth. Especially, blue and above.
I am hording my blue and above because not sure if I want to sell them or use them.
Im sure after awhile the patterns and such will spread about in due time.
I also believe the drop rates are very low. I also think it takes a lot of materials to create a cup.. xD. I mean.. can't I just steal a cup.. please?
My crafter is learning every single blueprint I find as soon as I get my hands on it. I refuse to buy any homestead things because prices are outrageous. If that means my characters sleep on a bedroll on the floor, so be it.

xp,cp, ap and your worried about a grind in the game?
its amazing how many guilds are releasing their stash of 1000's of the like to the market now. they drove up the prices for everything in the first place with their buying out and you can bet they are doing it with these mats too.
Last I saw, in the top trading guild in EU PC the MM prices of regulus was around 500g per item. I suspect that others are around similar figures of 300-1000g. That will drop substantially within a month as the market is flooded with people farming and selling what they get. I'd estimate prices to drop to around 50-100g per item by Easter, spurred on with the release of materials with the Jester's festival which would make things affordable to practically anyone looking to craft items from the blueprints they find.
Similar prices on NA, the prices will drop if they just give them to everyone. i don't think the markets really the issue though, its that everyone whats their shizz pimped like right now, that will drive people to crown store, lack of patience not the mat prices or availability as such.
