Cooldown on Resource and Keep Capture

I don't mind resources and keeps giving AP rewards for being captured by players. The rewards motivate players that like to play for the campaign and makes it easier for such people to get AP in often bigger groups.

The problem I have with the current implementation, is the lack of any such cooldown between when a keep is captured and the reward given.

At this time of writing, we have a group of EP and DC on PC EU taking it in turns to flip Nikel back and forth between them without repairing anything.

If there was a 5-minute cooldown between keep capture and the given reward, it would make this much less open to abuse.

I think the cooldown should be placed on the keep/resource/outpost and not the player.

Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't find any other threads dedicated to the subject post update.

    A separate 5 min cd for keeps.

    And separate cd for resources, however with 3 charges.
    I mean like, it's completely legit to take 3 resources around a keep within short time. So it would be completely legit to get the bonus for all three.

    This is why I think the individual resources and keeps should have their own individual timers. If it was just captured, this timer should be set for 5 minutes and if taken again within 5 minutes, no AP should be rewarded and the timer should be reset.

    This means a player can help take multiple resources/keeps and receive the full AP rewards, but only if they're not flipping the same keep/resource back and forth (the current way this is being exploited).

    I can't agree with this, as it would just replicate the issue with d-ticks in a legitimate setting: Rather than pushing forward and repelling/wiping the last remaining bit of enemy forces, people would just dawdle inside the keep waiting for the AP to pop, while the enemy faction sets up a retaliation right outside the walls.
