Realise the drop rate for the new crafting mats for furniture is abysmally low.
Realise that the drop rate for patterns/designs etc is even lower.
Understand that everything you can buy with in game gold or Crowns is overpriced, in some cased by a factor of 20 (stack of 4 logs for 100g I am looking at you).
Go play a ten year old game like LOTRO and see that they were doing it better then than ZeniMax are doing it now.
Prepare yourself to be disappointed.

depends on what you were expecting, I am pretty happy with housing as it is now, only storage I am missing, but it will come one day eventually

Didn't you just make a thread the other day disgruntled with an aspect of housing? You tagged every zos employee you could.
Farm gold. There are zero things more important than getting gold, as everything in the patch requires heaps of gold. You can't prefarm the new furniture crafting materials or plans, so you need gold to buy them. You need gold to buy achievement furnishings. You need gold to buy houses. You need gold to buy new gear like the new (old) Tel Var sets. Okay those you actually can buy with Tel Var as well, but it's probably easier to just buy them with gold. You need gold to buy gold. You need gold.
Don't buy motifs right now as it's a waste of gold and won't increase your chances of getting a master writ enough to matter. Don't buy nirnhoned trait for research as it doesn't impact enough to matter. Keep doing your research since it's basically free, but more importantly GET GOLD.
