The question is how many sets do you craft more than once a week or even month?
Having a set station in your house might save you like 5 mins of traveling time everytime you craft that set, so having them is pure luxery.

That's better but you're still at the mercy of RNG as to whether you get them or not.
The description:
Ues when at an item crafting station to create a copy which can then be placed in your house(5 second cooldown)
Which translated in my mind is... you'r going to have a crafting station for every set in your house instead of one station that will craft them all. Now that idea would be fine except how you get the attunable. You do the daily and MAYBE get a write that gets you 2 writ vouchers and the attunables cost 250 writ vouchers. Blacksmith, Woodworker and clothier= 750 writ vouchers. And if you have to have an attunable for each set.... Good grief. Was there a Whiskey wednesday when this was thought of or is this the extreme version of a money grab? Because you Can, of course buy them for crowns... LOTS of crowns.
So now Im left with... do I ESO plus or buy crowns for stuff and do I even want preorder Morrowing. Im on a fixed income and cant just buy everything. I dont mind spending money but I would have to be Bill Gates at this point. And the lack of stuff, mats, etc makes it even less likely that I'll every furnish the house. Im left with a very bad taste in my mouth and am left wanting the gold back and you can keep the house.
My beef isn't the grind..... heck attunable stations should be a grind. Just like the highest tier housing should be a grind (or cost money).
My beef isn't even having to farm blueprints.... no biggie.
My beef is why the hell should a furniture blueprint require 3 (or more) leveled crafting skill lines??? What if I want to use the skill points in Thieves guild, dark brotherhood, my class/weapon, racial skills, world skills....etc
I have 1 crafting toon(except provisioning) It took more than 130 points. I have them all at 50. Still working on traits(and the timers need to be cut in half-Why? If you have 8 traits and keep your nirn crafting going without break, it takes at least 5months on top of the other crafting- WAY TOO LONG)

The advantage of learning all traits as against learning 5-6 (which is easily achievable) is not that significant.
Sure if you want to complete all the writs by yourself you will need at least one dedicated crafter and that might take some time and money to get all the traits researched and motifs learned.
It might be annoying to new players who have a long way to go, but it provides an interest for experienced players & crafters who have had very limited upgrades to the crafting facet of the game since release.
You also mention 'grinding' a lot....well this is an RPG MMO, its an integral part of the game design for the genre. If you want instant gratification there are other types of games that can fill that need, but RPG MMO's are not it.
Some time in the future a gaming company might take the risk (and it is a huge risk considering the money involved in developing an MMO) and produce a game that is fully dynamic and avoids grinding entirely, but I doubt it will be in my lifetime.
Another MMO called Eve Online has real time learning for ALL skills and it can take years to train to fly the ship you want....but the game still has a massive following and was released in 2003.
I totally understand that you are frustrated with not being able to do what you want in a game when you want to, it is entertainment after all. My only advice would be to find something else that you enjoy doing with your free time, be it another game or the real world.
In particular it makes sense to do this for Imperial City crafting stations IMO. If you get a master writ requiring something crafted from one of the Imperial City sets it's so much less hassle to go to an attuned station in your home than it is to have to queue for a campaign, and make it across Cyrodiil & an Imperial City district to get to the crafting station you need.redspecter23 wrote: »I've come to the conclusion that the best use for multiple sets worth of crafting stations in your home is to make it easier to do your master writs which will speed up your writ voucher collecting. There is a ton of travel time involved for some of those equipment writs, sometimes only offering 6 - 10 vouchers.
