I cant get past character select screen .. when i try to log in char i get this error message: Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection

my connection IS valid otherwise I couldnt write here

If you have a Router, make sure the following ports are opened for your platform. Note you want to do Port Triggering, not Forwarding.

If you have a Windows Machine, make sure the firewall on that allows the ports and or the game.

doesnt help.. .not a problem with router or firewall.... never had this problem before Homestead update.

I can enter the game with some characters, but not the one i want to ....

Is your character in Belkarth? If so, log in during a less busy time, and then don't leave them parked there.

I'm having exactly this issue, I can login to 5 of my characters but not the one I left in Deshaan. This problem has been around before but I guess ZoS aint big on bug fixing 'minor' issues...............

I am also having this issue with a character in Rawl'Kha. Client crashed and now my main is stuck there.

Same issue. I have multiple characters who logged off in Rawl'kha, but only one who can't log in. Thinking it might be related to the number of quests completed like the long load screen bug way back when (since it's a character who has cleared all zones and quests).

Have been trying to log in for 2 days now. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Same thing. My main character is in Rawl'kha and the game thinks I don't have a valid internet connection when I try to log in with that character. I can log in with another character, however.

I have multiple characters who cannot log in to Rawl-kha:

Voidus Insidious
Sabbatus Insidious

However, I can log in to other characters just fine. There seems to be a problem with Rawl-kha.

Same error as reported above, zone won't allow me in.

HELP!

I could log in once today, but now again I cannot log in with my char who is in Rawl'kha.
This is very unpleasant!

This s**t is f**ked up, third day in row when I am coming back from work and cant enjoy a couple of hours of playing because of this.
