You can not have an honest poll with just 2 options and an acusation. Blaming a poration of the player base for crown store pricing is trying to weight the poll in your direction.
You also seem to assume that people are going out and buying crown packs to make this purchase, you haven't though about those of us how have excess crowns from subbing. In all reality why does it matter? For those acting like everything ZOS add to the store is just a cash grab, and that may very well be true. Trust me when I tell you if the game fails it will not be because of the cs.6 -

Since there's no actual functionality to housing I'm not worried about getting anything other than the free inn rooms right away. After trying it out on the PTS I decided it's worth £10 to me (about 2,500 crowns). I don't keep much money laying around, and TBH, playing the Auction House does not interest me in the least. I make all my money from selling things to vendors, which as i'm sure you are aware, is enough to keep me with a enough money to get by, but not a fortune.

Whiphid✭✭✭✭Seeing as the price for the furnished castle is around 9 months of sub, I'm probably going to put my crowns in there. The "starting selection" of furniture is nice until we grind enough stuff to actually craft the stuff we want. I'll save my gold for the achievement furniture and the occasional guild trader purchase for furniture plans/mats.
Not a lot of stuff to buy with crowns anyway nowadays, as all the interesting stuff is put into the crates (which I won't touch with a 10 foot pole). I have enough mounts for the moment, and don't feel any urge to buy Redguard costumes.One land! One Emperor! Who among you will stand with me?

Going to buy my main house for Crowns (which I saved from my ESO plus), there's no way I'm gettin' 1.2 million in-game gold for Strident Springs. However, I can afford a small house for gold, and I'll get it too - I really liked Cyrodiilic Jungle House and it's only 71K. I wouldn't make my small house a primary residence, simply because you cannot put much stuff in there. So I guess real money investment works in my case. Player cap at a meager 24 players for even the largest Houses (making the Houses absolutely useless for Guilds).
There's zero reason to spend any "real money" in the form of Crowns to spend on what is (in all reality) no more useful than a Mount. It's a glorified vanity Mount. Once it's fully decorated (which I loathe the thought of that type of grind...), what purpose does it hold?
My wife and I were thinking about spending some of our Sub Crowns on one, we thought a Manse/Manor might be nice for a Guild Hall. That got cured very quickly.
So, now we're going to spend nothing more than a couple hundred thousand, get a Medium Home, decorate it, then call it a day. None of the Houses are more than RP fodder, ZOS saw to that with their shocking limitations on what Houses will do (which isn't much at all), and that's all we'll use it for. Just a bit of RP'ing.
There's no reason at all to spend real money on Crowns for these crap-tastic Houses.

Motifs are cool but lots can get get in game and limited usefulness because dropped sets are better.
Bought a few pets and mounts, an pet is mandatory the stealing, also a few costumes nothing else.

In every other game that offers housing, single-player and MMO, Housing offers options for additional storage. I understand that ZOS "wants ESO to not be a typical MMO", but when literally every other game that offers Housing with additional storage...

Depending on the selling prices, I may just sell the crafting supplies, writs, and furniture crafting "recipes", or maybe just sell the crafted furniture.
