HELP: Lost a lot of mail with items in them post patch.

Logging in post patch I was dismayed to see my inbox was wiped out. I had like 6 or 7 messages that I had sent to a friend of mine full of items. She returned them and I was waiting till after patch to open them because I needed to make space in my bags. They are just all gone now.
I've tried opening a support issue through the website and it won't let me for missing items that aren't bought with crowns. I get a message saying "If the missing items have not been purchased through the Crown Store, the system will not be able to restore them"
I submitted a /bug in game but there isn't a very good category for reporting missing items from mail.
I'm really hoping that this can be resolved.

jluchau✭✭✭Send in a support ticket. They don't ever reply to bug reports, and you likely want someone to look into this.
Thanks for the response. I tried to do a support ticket first. As I went through the steps I was confronted with a message that said "If the missing items have not been purchased through the Crown Store, the system will not be able to restore them" and it wouldn't let me continue with the process of opening up a support ticket.

jluchau✭✭✭I double checked the PTS version of my character and the mail is missing from their too. I don't know, I really thought I had more time. It's possible I was wrong about this. Nobody else seems to be having mail issues so I guess i'll just let it go.
