If it works the same way that the Imperial Edition does, then it's going to be useless anyway, since many of our BiS items are BoP and can't currently be converted.AdamBourke wrote: »Ahhh but then the gear converters they sell with the collectors editions would be worthless...

The way it work in wow is pretty nice, you add the armor in one slot then you add the style armor in another and press an button, this might cost gold or require some token. The style armor can be anything, crafted or drop.It should take CP 150 worth of mats (so not the full 150 or whatever for CP 160) plus the style stone to change the appearance. There needs to be a way for other people to do this for you for your bound gear, but that doesn't even have to be added initially. Just being able to change the style for your own gear would be amazing to have. The small material costs allows it to be a minor gold sink. Once others can change the style of your bound gear it'll give even more value to master crafters.
I'm just so sick and tired of seeing new motifs added. They don't seam to realize 90% of people will never use them because for 90% of builds dropped sets are far superior. Additionally no one wants to keep golding their gear over and over to change its appearance.
Problem here is the user interface, simplest is using an template.TheShadowScout wrote: »Indeed we have stated this time and time again, and will continue to do so until we get something.
I dislike all those "convert to..." options, I want those gone and instead have a "recraft" pip on every gear crafting station where our master crafter characters can spend resources and materials to change the style of any gear to any style they may have learned...
It would make learning styles a lot more valuable, which may even bring more people to consider the crown store style options.
I also would not mind if it requitred some rare resource (something like perfect roe or nirncrux in terms of how annoying it ought to be to get) that again impatient people could spend crowns on...

You dont want this system, if you get this, you will soon return to forums and complain about all the limitations the system would force on you.
Me included, to tell you "I said so".
I had a priviledge to play LOTRO and play with its wardrobe system which is essentially what you want, it is much better than any transmog style system..
Though why am i even writing, nobody reads anything but the first post anyways
