Why am I forced to start the game again to use the new Warden class?

Because I clearly state I play ONLY ONE character. As many, I don't use alts and so the only way I have to play with the Warden is if I create an alt.

There are players that DON'T USE alts and so the option to change classes should be allowed, mostly, if a new class is introduced.

ZOS allows a lot of account-wide things, a lot, but if class change is allowed many think the world will reach its end. HOW PATHETIC!!!

If my main changes its class for some persons it's a BIG issue, but if I create an alt, play non-stop for 2 days and max level it, even getting its CPs free from my main, then that's not an issue. What's the difference?!

I can't believe people can be so pathetic in this life when giving their opinins only to confront an OP. Big illness that people that think are gods of game forums carry.

Everyone is "Wow! Warden! New class! OMG! So cool! Warden! Wow!"... ... ...

I only use one character and I do everything with him in the game, from PvE, to PvP, to try go get all achievements in the game, etc.

So, new content is coming, I have to pay for it if I want it, but I'm forced to put my current character aside and play all the game again if I want to use the Warden? Why? (I know Morrowind has a lot of stuff to do, but this thread points to the use of the new class only).

Why I can't have an option to use the Warden with the character I have now (class change)?

Why am I forced to start the game from scratch and repeat all I have been doing for +2 years if I want to play with the Warden?

Or, am I also forced to create a Warden character, don't do any PvE (well, forcedly some to level it up) and use it for PvP only?

Why this game forces people to have more than one character and so do all things over again?

How I see things; ZOS doesn't think nor cares for players that play just one character.

Class change please, even if with crowns.
Is this actually a real concern!? I thought this thread was one epic troll... O.o

I don't know what class your one and only character is, OP; so for the sake of argument, let's say you made a Templar.

So you're playing ESO, you've knocked out all of the original story and Cadwell's Silver and Gold. You're a minor God among Ants at this point.

Awesome for you. You get a Klondike bar.

But as you wander the wilds, you see someone using Skills and abilities that you cannot use yourself, and you think they're just cooler than sliced bread. You question this person as to what amazing Skills they're using, and you find out that they're a Sorcerer.

Now you want to play a Sorcerer.

Did you know that if you create a second character, as a Sorcerer, YOU STILL HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME FROM THE BEGINNING AS A NEW SORCERER!!!

Why should the Warden class be any different? If you want a Warden, create a new character, and just play the damn game. Why should you get to start a brand new character, that amazingly, has all the knowledge and experience gained by a completely separate character?

Even closer to your argument? Why should you be allowed to take an existing character, and switch their Class to the new Warden class, and immediately have access to top-level Warden Skills/Abilities? Where would your character get this amazing font of knowledge about a career path that has never existed in the game before?

I swear... Do you people even want to play the game!? The things people *** about and want handed to them with zero effort is inane and childish.

Download Morrowind. Create a new character. Play as a Warden.

If you want to keep it "new and fresh", START THAT CHARACTER IN MORROWIND, NOT THE BASE GAME!

Why is this so hard to grasp!?

Yes. This is a big problem.
I know other big threads talk about account wide achievements pro/contra, but just I'm saying.

If achievement would be account-wide, then there wouldn't be force. Just play as you want with your character with which you want to.

"Why am I forced to start the game again to use the new Warden class?"

Well... you are not forced to play. But I can understand your point.
If warden was not scraped and available just like the other classes from the game launch date (and even if it was really bad and underperforming class) I would still pick it for my main character (purely out of play-style and RPG reasons). I always wanted druid / nature mage type of character.

My main character is NB and I have probably like 2 years (how many hours I don't know but certainly more than 2000 on this character). So I am not going to play the ENTIRE game once more (do all quests for all alliances, gather every skill point, skyshard, achivements etc. ). It just takes too much time. And I just don't have live long enough to create a second "MAIN" character.

But don't worry. In many mmos it is common practise to introduce new class. And class change token is probably only a matter of time. But I would not expect it come out any time soon (maybe like 2 years + ? Who knows). Look at it from different perspective... If warden will be OP and it will outperform other classes (specially in PvP) either it will be nerfed fast or other classes will receive a buff.

And I am planning to complete new Morrowind DLC / Expansion with my main character (that is not a warden).

can y'all not complain about wanting race change. I hate llving a new toon it takes a 6 to 10 hours to get to 50 but after that lvling up the other weapon lines, mages guild, fighting guild , undaunted, skyshard farming and alliance war rank after the first 10 lvls it takes forever. I know it suck a lot to really lvl a ult for most people.

but if class changes is added it really will be FOTM game and be boring.
if they say hey where adding class change. I'm out first announcement

AD PS4 NA -retired (PC runs way better to play on console)

    Wait...
So you want to keep your current character, the gear, crafting, items, and unlocks you have achieved on that character.
But also have all the benefits of any other class, current or future, whenever you wish while never having to put in any effort to get those benefits?

I think I see your problem.

Yes, as many other games do.

Hold! I didn't see you complaining when race change was finally allowed, or when CPs could be used account-wide without using any effort on the alts you crated, or when this other account-wide feature was implmented, or that other account-wide feature, or... Pwph!!!

The saddest thing is that the other threads that tried to discuss the same issue in a more civil manner didn't get as much attention as this one.
People just looking for a fight these days.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.
