It's a new class: you have to create a new char and select Warden as your class

Another kindred spirit, hooray.
What baffles me and hasn't fit into any other discussion yet: Why release a class like the Warden with frost magic and bear companions with Vvardenfell of all places? It should have been added with Wrothgar if anything.
It's quite obvious they wanted to add value to the so-called "chapter" and glued the scrapped 5th class from alpha back together, instead of adding a class that actually fits the theme of the new content.
And my biggest concern next to no ability for class change is that this might be another nail in the coffin for spellcrafting.

But the ice magic is stupid imo.
If the character is supposed to be built around nature, then it would've been a lot cooler to get dps magic similar to like what Spriggans and Lurchers use; ice is a pretty big let down in terms of ingenuity and unique distinguishable skills.
There has been a lot of support from the playerbase for ice magic. A lot of people have wanted to be frostmages and such since launch. The current ice staff skill are underwhelming for this.

I wish that they held off ice magic for a necromancer class though
I would really love to see some earth based magic to do with nature/trees. Maybe something like tree roots coming out of the ground and trapping foes, etc. Would be amazing.

oh lol, can already see myself run msa again xD
who would have thought of all the sets, this might have been one i had better kept
I'd like to see a summoned Wolf companion as an active ability and it's morph can be either a powerful Black Wolf that does extra damage or a Senche Tiger that causes bleeding damage with its claws.
It's all up to you ZOS... but It'd be nice.

I'm glad they're adding the Warden, but it brings up a hilarious scenario for me. I've haven't played ESO in a while and have been thinking of coming back, but because of the Warden announcement, it's going to be a couple of months. See I've always favored the D&D/EQ1 Ranger in terms of rpg class, so now the Warden is the only one I have any interest in playing in ESO. So basically, they did something positive and now I'm not playing because of it. Just makes me chuckle a bit.
