Imperial City came with the Mind-Shriven horse
Wrothgar came with the bear
Thieves' Guild came with the camel
Dark Brotherhood came with the wolf
All unique mounts, with different models and textures, fitting the setting and/or the culture added with the DLC.
Morrowind's collector's edition comes with ... horse armor.
Do I need to remind everyone that Dunmer eat horses, not ride them? Why not at least re-skin a guar?
I'm baffled by this decision, to see the largest content update for ESO to date fall back behind previous DLCs in this regard.
Even more so because I remember Matt Firor talking about Morrowind being his favourite TES game, and liking the idea of having an insect mount in ESO (I can't find the interview now, he has given too many over the years).
And although I generally don't care about pets, it's really the same issue. Previous DLCs had unique creatures from the new zones as pets whereas Morrowind comes with an armored dog (pre-order) we already had previously, and a Dwarven Spider (collector's edition) which is even attainable in-game. Heck, my beta monkey is more unique than either of those.
This one time I was looking forward to buy the biggest bundle, because I love the Dunmer so much. But as it stands, there is nothing Dunmeri in either the pre-order bonus or collector's edition.
I'm just glad I bought the Kagouti when it was in the store.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.
