If someone is telling to not create a precedence for this, then at least consider what they are talking about.
I am completely against exploits, but I see prudence in ZOS, when they elect to ban or not ban. It's their choice after all.
You may be addicted to their product, you maybe good at it, but neither do you own it, nor did you create it. If you are capable of creating then stop playing this game and come back when made your own creation. You elitists speak only from your own narrow and selfish perspective, you are just an addict and not a business that is looking to grow.
They will never perma-ban when they see an exploit due to a fatal flaw in their design (We are all humans and mistakes happen, if you are some elitist who is perfect then please leave this world, no one is perfect here, this is just how our imperfect world is).
Further you are not entitled to any information about the action they will take against their customers. You are no better or worse than another player for ZOS, we are all customers of ZOS, we are playing their game, you dont earn achievements, they just let you use them till they think its time. I don't have dro mathra destroyer (Not taking my mag nb in to a group trying to do that as mag nb is toilet now) but my guild mates do. They're the most skilled players I know and they really earned it. It's hard work. The rarity of the title was really something special too.
It'd really annoy me to see a bunch of exploiters running around boasting about their skill and trying to pretend they're on the same level as the guys who got this legit.

There's also such thing as business reputation.
Most of players never use hacks and exploits... They just wanna play the game, have fun, all the basic stuff, you know. They dont wanna be screwed up by some cheater. We live in the age of media, and bad reputation is something that is very difficult to redeem (and ESO already had this issue because of lauch problems). If they allow cheaters/exploiters to go wild, they will lose a number of potential players, simply because they dont wanna be in a disadvantage as fair players.
The problem with vMoL exploiting is just a part of the bigger issue. Same story happens to all other bugs, including those that are actually harmful for game's economy and other players (especially in pvp or trading).
"Hard work"??
"They really deserve it"???
"They're really skilled players"????
Meh.. it's just the GAME! And you do not have to be "skilled player". Just play the game, gosh!

i was in a chat zone and i heard some low end cp 180 how he and his friends cp 60 and few others got the title and skin and he was complaining how the guild he was in kicked him and his friends out because they were cheating.
I just want to say thank you to those guilds for having honor and respect for those who spend weeks and months in preparing and spending countless hours in trying to beat it and got it in the end they deserve it.
So to those guilds who kicked low end cp players with skins and titles thank you.
Is ZoS dose not ban or take those away from those players i hope other guilds will step up and purge those cheaters in getting those items and titles.
Again to those guilds i thank you.
Also, what about animation cancelling? Ban them too?
Lmao

Animation cancelling was considered a feature by ZOS.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThZtwhYkKSs
Besides, no amount of animation canceling allows you to skip boss fights in dungeons.

Lol so misinformed you are...
The groups got twins down and guess what. They sent their sorcs up and around to kill the last boss while the others remained in the arena...
So yes, a lot of people got titles and skins...
You know its hard to feel much sympathy. The competitive integrity of PvP has long been destroyed. This game originally had the potential to be an e-sport in PvP. But then ZOS let the quality down, allowed PvP to rot in 10FPS for half a year and then allowed ACTUAL CHEATERS, not just exploit users, back into the game after they were caught actually using cheat engine. Cheat engine also allowed people to cheese maelstrom and get weapons.
I'm sorry that the PvE community had the integrity of a very difficult challenge corrupted by this exploit but PvE leaderboards have been cheesed before. Certain guilds have bought and sold runs and exploits.
I think its time for all of us, PvP and PvE to come to the conclusion that there is NO real integral competitive endgame environment for either of us in Elder Scrolls Online. This game lacks the quality, integrity, and developer desire to sustain an endgame PvE or PvP community. ZOS cannot provide us with an exploit free, cheater free, or even bug/lag free environment that is essential for competitive hardcore PvE/PvP.
If you want some perspective, League of Legends has 150 champions and immediately suspends them for competitive play if there is a known bug or glitch. Meanwhile ZOS struggles to balance just four classes. I can't think of a PvE Example but I'm sure there is one out there.
This game will forever be a casual game unless there is some severe changes in upper management. Trying to play this game at a competitive or hardcore level will only result in frustration.
This next patch I think I will be converting into a casual carebear. You are all welcome to tea parties at my house.

i don't mean to be rude and you are right its just the game however 12 man trials and end contents are extremely hard and time consuming it takes 1 person to make a mistake and whole team is gone. It might be just the game and we all take games differently however there is 1 thing we all have in common and that is your time.
your time is valuable and spending 6 hr trying to beat one content and then people getting killed because of few people many reasons ( low dps no enough regen wrong cp ect) you would be upset.
To finish the end game content you do need skilled players who know what to do and this particular content you need to be on top of your game have the right cp the right gear the right mind set in your team.
I don't know if you have ever finished any vet trials and if you have with a PUG group you would know it dose not happen and if it dose its a miracle.
I have not gotten the skin or title and knowing how hard people worked for they deserve it and i respect them for that.
now that people got it by cheating that respect is gone among the players , you can see cp 561 with those titles and skin and always in your mind you will think .." he probably cheated his way " and this is the thing that people who worked hard are upset with it, now it means nothing.
If you got flawless conquer( if you don't know what i mean by VMSA try it out ) no death VMSA how many times it took you ? how many weeks months until you got it? lets say 3 months you worked on it and when you got it how happy and proud of your self were you, the skill and training it took to get that?
Now imagine if you seen cp 100 with that running around... how would you fell knowing he just got it by cheating in 1 run.
yhea that's my 2 cents.
