ESO needs Instanced-PVP

    I'm confused. I thought PvP was instanced? Maybe it just for me. Many things don't load until I get really close. For example. Unsure how to describe. This small stone gate. Or door?

    You can just ride around this stone thing. Left or right. You can even go through. Nothing blocks entrance. However I usually always never see it until suddenly. I'm forced stop. Due to invisible thing. That gate/door thing. Then it finally loads.

    At times it loads then I go around it. But mostly I don't see it until to late. Sometimes I hit a tree. However my best example. Say Nickle. Front of Nickle door. Further away I put a tent. However I can see Nickle.

    But as I get half way to Nickle. I don't see the tent anymore. But as I get little further away from half closer to tent. I can see tent. But tent disappeared when I go closer to Nickle.

    Instance PVP is sorely needed for ESO, no doubt about it. They mentioned once on an ESO Live that it might be coming in 2017 (was mentioned in an early 2016 show as I recall). Instance PvP would mean two things: Balance (in terms of equal sized teams) and an immediate show of what is potentially overpowered in a balanced fight.

    Cyrodiil is the worst kind of PvP you can have in an MMO (no limits to the size of teams, except for a ridiculously large alliance side population cap, resulting in 100v40 kind of fights), at least GW2 had the decency to also put out instanced PvP alongside their zergfest of a WvWvW. The problem with ESO though, is that there is no alternate way to PvP (if you don't count duels outside of Cyrodiil), which means that it's either: Join the zergfest or don't pvp.

    As someone who always PvPs in MMOs I find it so incredibly frustrating, and even more so since I also happened to join the alliance with the lowest population on my server.

    Hopefully ZOS has already realised this lack and will release something for us desperate to gtfo of cyrodiil.

    Did you try increasing your view distance?

    Yeah BUt I'd rather they first add that PvE Cyrodil would be entered and capped obviously outside of a campaign

    And then the battlegrounds that they're working on come too

    It won't stop the complaints completely . Once we get battlegrounds a whole new era of complaint threads will surface .

    Battlegrounds would be cool, but if there is anything dueling proved, it's that ESO isn't (and imo shouldn't be) balanced around small, even numbers.

    Why should they? Those are PvP zones. In PvE you have open world content and dungeons. Why can't PvPers have their “dungeons“ in form of battlegrounds?

    I never said they couldn't? In fact I'm arguing for it. Create battlegrounds, then create a completely different instance of Cyro that does not have PVP. Just for the PVE questing.

    Maybe half tel var collection because of this special restriction and leave the PVP zones alone, what is the problem?

    Large scale isn't bad, it's just not done correctly. I want to do a 50v50 not a 50v10....

    Cyrodiil is designed for large scale. My point of view would be, introduce battlegrounds for those wanting smaller scale pvp. Best of both worlds so to speak.
    A pve instance of Cyrodiil would be cool. Highly unlikely it would ever feature in the game though.
