It's one thing having the abilities and another thing using it though, on NA out of EP and DC the only person I worry about is @asneakybanana . He knows exactly when to bomb from his experience in group play, it's kinda annoying haha. Castle is pretty good to though.

Absolutely agreed. Bombing is like ganking. Anyone can pick up viper and alchemist or proxy and tether and kill some people, but to incorporate all of the complex tools available to the nightblade class and utilize them to their full potential is an art form.

God, I love mageblade. It's capable of so much! This thread makes me happy.

I would say the hardest part about bombing is finding the right balance with your build between sustain, dmg, and survivability so that you can get out alive after the bomb. For me the scariest people on NA are stealthy, castle, and oscar/crimson but he is too squish

It's really hard to be able to survive when you get hit with a couple destro ults from a counter bomb or are getting range attack spammed while running back to an LOS position and without resto staff really the only heals you have is funnel health and sap while youre spamming harness to let the hots slightly heal you back up.

ps i have a build in mind for like 22k+ destro ult ticks

I got stupid high ticks running BSW+ Alch+ Kena + all the basic bombblade stuff (Reapers Mark, war horn, SPC, etc). It wasn't terribly practical to run as raid lead but it did kill the hell out of things.

But youre really not going to Crit above 15k on anything but absolute pugs even with over 6500 Spell Damage, so I'm.... somewhat doubtful you can get another 5-8k damage in there. I suppose I'll wait and see, that ambush + destro combo seems fairly locked onto me

. I've seen some decent ticks from you on my combat log but nothing even remotely close to what you're saying.

God what a dumb meta lol.

I wonder where they play. My group is one of the biggest bomb magnets on the server and the absolute hardest bomb I've experienced is Sneaky and Crimson... but their numbers are comparable to my own bombblades, or lower than my DPS that don't run VD. I'd be really curious to see a person almost literally doubling that damage through legitimate means.

I average 8k on your group running vd and no kena and full impen. I sometimes crit 10.5k on you guys, on pugs I've seen 14.8k as my highest crit running vd and no kena with no warhorn afaik. Almost every single bomb I had last night over 3 hours had a tick between 13.5 and 14k with my highest last night at 14.4k. if I were to go full dmg with kena and bsw and warhorn and a few other buffs and full divines I could fairly easily push 20k+ on pugs.

For me the scariest people on NA are stealthy, castle, and oscar/crimson but he is too squish It's really hard to be able to survive when you get hit with a couple destro ults from a counter bomb or are getting range attack spammed while running back to an LOS position and without resto staff really the only heals you have is funnel health and sap while youre spamming harness to let the hots slightly heal you back up.

Getting out is the toughest thing. I long ago put dampen/harness front bar when bombing, it lets me soak up the initial damage, but a counterbomb is pretty ruinous regardless.

Who is Castle btw? I thought I knew all the main bombers on PC NA (you, Crimson, Yonkit, Crispen, Stealthy) but I cannot recall who Castle is for the life of me.

I wonder where they play. My group is one of the biggest bomb magnets on the server and the absolute hardest bomb I've experienced is Sneaky and Crimson... but their numbers are comparable to my own bombblades, or lower than my DPS that don't run VD. I'd be really curious to see a person almost literally doubling that damage through legitimate means.

I know I've killed groups of 4-10 by myself when destro ulti first came out - lots of easy AP - but it almost felt like it wasn't fair anymore

I've also tried everything - Alchemist, Spider Cultist, Kena, monster set combos (Skoria, Grothdar)- it can be really deadly lol

Reaper's Mark?? To let them know you're coming? I always laugh when I get marked and I'm not a NB.

Good bombblades will mark you only 1 second before the bomb hits you. If you die you increase my damage to everyone else by 25% as well as heal me. We usually mark the squishiest player to lower their resistances to basically nothing. Bomblade marks aren't to keep a nightblade out of stealth but what I mention above. Most of the time we get back to back Ults because of how many kills we get.

FEAR THE BOMB BLADE!!!

1 second gives me plenty of time to block and if Templar, cleanse. All it does is let me know you're there. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of scrubs out there that it works on, but any half way decent player will block. But I guess that's who bombblades target, scrubby zerglings.

Keep trying to block that Destro. Destro is far more effective then tether. I have successfully bombed every primetime competitive guild on NA PC TF not just the scrubby zerglings. Give me your character name, the group you play with, and where you play and I will be happy to introduce you to a bomb blade build that will kill you.

I wanna see videos of this if it goes down!

Hello again, im not gonna make another thread, so I will post my latest video here.
I made some adjustments to my build (not skillset yet), results were... good. Montage contains some older clips, before changes. I saw that someone here was suprised by 15k ap bomb... what about 30k ap?
