I would 'like' it - but I think its correct that it doesn't have it.

What I'd rather have is for it to not lose the 5th set bonus temporarily when you weapon-swap... leaving you a fair bit of health/mag and stam to recover...

Wrong, you can make a 5 pc armor set with 4 of the pieces something other then training.

You don't even want weapons.

When you swap weapons you lose the bonuses, which have to regen. So say you had 4 body and 1 weapon, when you swap, 2.7k health, stam and magica gone which needs to regen.

Use jewellery, either sturdy heavy chest or well fitted medium chest and 1 training piece. It's honestly fine. You lose 1 good trait.

For my Sorc I definetly don't want weapons, I got what I want in those slots, I just pointed it out for those that might be interested.
For jewelry, I also got some better options to chose from (which both sadly come in jewelry + weapons only aswell).

All I want is something remotely useful on my Armor pieces during combat. Something that helps me adjust my build a little more than "training" does.
Even everything in well-fitted or reinforced is better, just some more options.

Yes, and I'd rather have more sets like it that boost stats, not proc their own damage for the player. High stats (and possible future sets that could buff stats for brief windows ) create a scenario that the user has to the take advantage of through the use of *GASP* skillful play.
So yes, I'd like Trainee and more sets like it that buff damage potential...with the condition that these no-brain death-by-armor sets would go away.

i was told it was a mistake that trainee quest rewards come in other traits than training. so go ahead and pick up as many as you can in case they change it next update

Indeed,this set is incredibly strong,combined with other sets you create an armor that deals 30 k burst every few seconds.
I admire your logic,by this approach sets such as viper, tremorscales,veli, selene should only come with training...well this nerf is more than what ZOS did...

Its a set in a zone and deserves all the RNG traits that every other zone set comes in.

Slightly going off-topic here, but wanted to mention that sets like these can really help hybrid builds, we may yet find a use for Pelinel's Aptitude set.

Set is OP and it should stay OP, couse it was created to help new players and low lvl char.
It would need be tone down if we could get it in divines/impe, and that would destroy it purpose.

Can you tell me what makes you think it's OP?
It doesn't proc 10 k damage every 4 seconds,it doesn't give you huge amount of spell/wp damage or max stat.
It is indeed a strong set but there are many strong sets.
Anyway people still use 3 jewelry and lose maybe 1/2 good traits,If ZOS thought like you it's OP they could remove the jewelry.
What I suggest is not a buff but more diversity.
Please reconsider your claims.

+3446 stamina and magica, which gives you about extra 330 spell and weapon dmg
And all of this only from one set.

The fact that ppl are still willing to use it, while loosing 2 traits show how good this set is. Right now it is fair trade, with best traits it would be OP as hell.

Not really...In this meta you benefit most from stacking 1 kind of stat(unless you use 3 proc sets),more stamina and health are obviously very helpful but they aren't OP.
How exactly 2 more impen will make trainee "OP as hell" ?
This set isn't OP and if you really care about balance then you should demand ZOS to give us viper, tremorscale selene etc only with training trait(your logic...).

Also, please stop saying that "this set is too strong" to have normal traits. It's stats, that's all it is. There are sets in the game that you could make an argument that they are "too strong" because they have an actual effect that is game-changing (ie: Black Rose), but Trainee is literally just stats- which is good, but will never be overpowered.

Exactly. If you're wearing 5 Trainee then you're not wearing 5 of any other set that's proc'ing high burst damage for you (of course, you still might be for your other 5 piece if you're set up that way)
Sets that boost stats are good. Players have to take advantage of their stats to be effective. Sets that proc damage are bad. Death by Armor is OP, not Trainee in all the traits of ever other set.
