You do teleport behind someone so i suppose it's cool.

I tested on my duel wield nb. My spell power is slightly above 3200. My tool tip for single target damage was slightly over 10k and my bat dot was shy of 5k. The two work together. Factor in battle spirit before player reductions that's 7.5k a tick IF you can manage to get a teleport strike every second for 5 seconds. Utility of teleport is good but if you compare the damage to eots it's still far less.

AND that wasnt in a pvp environment right? so in cyro dmg is just laughable

Just throwing it out there but when you break it down isn't much of the problem with PVP simply abilities that can be cast during other abilities?
