Are you still salty about the other thread where you were adamant that no one could have a negative opinion of the patch from reading the notes before PTS was live? The same thread where you disappeared and never replied after claiming I was "making things up" even though I provided you specific examples from the notes and challenged you to please address them?L2PHoloYoitsu wrote: »What would you choose?
Salty? Far from it. Just amused by your continued whining.HoloYoitsu wrote: »Just curious.
I don't know where you learned to debate, but refusing to answer straightforward questions and responding instead with coy insults isn't flattering for yourself to say the least. If you're gona troll at least be more funny.Salty? Far from it. Just amused by your continued whining.HoloYoitsu wrote: »Just curious.
Some of us are actually working on tweaking their character builds to reflect the changes.
But alas, it's probably easier to just sit in front of the forums and adding one whiny post after the other.
Yes, i get it, the sky is falling, ZOS will go bankrupt because you will unsub and leave the game, yada yada yada ...
Meaningless change, until chains is fixed to actually work consistently it's not worth a bar slot.Fiery Grip: Increased the duration of the Major Expedition buff granted by this ability and its morphs to 8 seconds from 2 seconds.
Unadulterated nerf. Can you now get a concievably bigger heal? Yes. But only when you're nearly out OOM; a mag DK w/o mag is a dead DK. What's that you say, pop a pot or drop an ult to restore mag after healing? Hello genius, you could have just done that to heal in the first place then.Coagulating Blood (Dragon Blood morph): This morph now heals you for 33% of your missing Magicka instead of 33% of your missing Health.
Cost increases are to the base cost of the skill, meaning that after factoring in cost reductions that everyone has the actual cost increase on your tooltip will be greater than the 38% listed int he patch notes. I don't have to be "on the pts" to know that this change hurts heavy armor S/B mag blades.Strife: Increased the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 38%.
Encase is already the strongest aoe root in the game for group PvP. Root & CC spam is already ridiculous, it doesn't need to be made cheaper.Encase: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 6%.
This is about the only nerf in the patch notes that you could defend by saying "well the wording is vague, you need to test it first". Even if it allows you to stack a Curse w/ the Haunting proc it would be an immensely stupid change.Velocious Curse (Daedric Curse morph):
Renamed this morph to Haunting Curse.
This morph no longer shortens the duration of the curse to 3.5 seconds from 6 seconds; instead, it causes the curse to echo and trigger one additional time 6 seconds after the first explosion.
Removing one of templars few CCs is clearly a nerf fighting someone 1v1 or smallscale.Blazing Spear (Spear Shards morph): Increased the duration of this morph to 8 seconds from 6 seconds, causing it to tick damage an additional 2 times; however, it no longer stuns the enemy when it first hits them.
Straight up damage nerf, clearly affects templar dps negatively.Radiant Destruction: Decreased the damage from this ability and its morphs by approximately 21%.
5% dmg reduction doesn't change anything in regards to how unbalanced destro ult is in PvP. I don't need to "test the numbers on pts" to deduce that.Elemental Storm: Reduced the damage for this ability and its morphs by 5%.
I don't need to be on PTS to see how this change harms mag DK by removing yet more counterplay from the game. This is even worse than the original design where force shock counted as 3 projectiles.Force Shock: This ability and its morphs can no longer be reflected. Beam-type attacks cannot be reflected, but are able to be blocked.

You refused to explain where you thought I was wrong on those points, now that PTS is out surely you're more than equipped to give a counter argument for at least a single one of them?

Only one duel on the Sorc, i was more concerned about my NB and DK.Rohamad_Ali wrote: »@SirAndy How is the PvP testing going on your Sorc on PTS ? I have not rolled one to check . Also have you dueled anyone ?

Played a lot with different gear, skills and CPs, even dusted off my lightning staff and summoned my pets (That combination worked surprisingly well in dungeons, there's just something about that electric crackle).
I'll dig in some more once my guildies wake up ...

I have no intention to "debate" any of your "points" since they have little substance and are not based in reality ...
PS: My Sorc is doing just fine on the PTS, minimal tweaking required.
