We need a stamina based aoe class skill to even come close to competing in PvP. I've suggested on my thread (and have seen others suggest this as well), that "Blazing spear" become a stamina morph in it's current PTS state (8 second duro with 2 extra damage ticks from the live version, no longer stuns). I think this would be just the kick stamplars need to be put back on the map as a 1vX capable stamina class.
Bitings jabs is simply too hard to aim to be considered a powerful AoE in most situations. The problem with stamina templar at the moment are useless class passives and the lack of magicka based utility besides Purge on top of useless ultimates - and that is where they should put their focus; reworking some passives to provide more damage and sustain (not a lot just some), reworking ultimates to be comparable or even better in some cases than what we can get outside our class trees, and as the last they need to buff some of our magicka utility like making Rune Focus a true self buff that sticks to us instead of being some silly ground placed effect.
If Burning Light would proc with every attack and not just Aedric Spear abilities, that could be the real deal. With a lower chance, of course. But stam sorcs can proc Implosion with every attack, so why shouldn't we have something similar.
Not sure about sustain though, as my stamplar is a Redguard, and that's not a good baseline to judge sustain on.

I'm really against this. I enjoy using Explosive charge. I don't want to be forced into only having one gap closer to choose from as a Magicka Templar. Stamina players have two gap closers already. I get what you are saying here about making Biting Jabs hit harder, but I don't think the answer is found in making duel wield the only viable route.
