When I hit play on launcher for PTS I get this popup :

Getting the same as this.

Been trying fixes from the internet all afternoon (After both a repair & full reinstall of the client ofc).... nothing is fixing it.

So, I know this sounds like Troubleshooting 101, but can you all try rebooting your computer? There was a new distributable that got installed, and a reboot is necessary to make sure it works properly. This could be causing the error you all are getting.

Hey Gina, I restarted several times now, tried the 32 bit and 64 bit client and even tried admin mode with no success.

Reboot unfortunately didn't solve the problem for me. Both 32bit and 64bit versions instantly crash upon starting.

I repaired that Client twice already, once after yesterdays error occurence and once a few hours ago after lots of trouble shooting. I can definitively say that it hasn't fixed my problem (sadly). But well....third repair I guess. It can't get worse can it?

Ok guys, we need a bit of information from you, if you wouldn't mind.

First, please attach your most recent host.developer file. You can find this in the Launcher folder from wherever you saved ESO on your machine.

Second, we need a screenshot of the redistributables you currently have. You can find this by going to your Control Panel, Programs, then just type "redist" in the search bar at the top and attached a screenshot of that window.

So, there's a different issue affecting Mac players specifically where they cannot load any copied characters; it's different from the issue in this thread. Is that what you're running into?

@ZOS_GinaBruno from the screenshots he provided you can clearly see that he is already in a loading screen to the rift. We others never got that far

I think it's safe to assume that he suffers from the mac related issue.

@radicalb21 can you confirm that you can login and select a char?

I finally got it to install after having the "Reliable source" error numerous times. Now it crashes on startup showing me error 12. I also got the missing dll error at some point but it disappeared after a reboot

I have some of the same error, with exceptions. I launch directly from the eso64.exe normally.

After patching yesterday, I did not enter PTS at all. PC was off overnight and restarted today. This afternoon I tried PTS for the first time.

My PTS eso32.exe works ok to get into PTS.

My PTS eso64.exe will not load with the following error:

I attached my other files you asked from others:

Note, I attempted to install the most recent 2015 redist but it did not resolve the PTS eso64.exe. Then did PTS repair. No change.

I am also having some other issues with containers on anything but Vanilla game, but I will troubleshoot that separately.

As a mac user, I can confirm that when I tried to use any copied characters the whole eso client would hang ("not responding"). When I created a new character, I got in fine.

I'm able to login to game and get to character select then click play and then the loading screen
