You're going to have very sore fingers to pickpocket all of that gold. I added it up to 25,737,000 to buy all houses but once you go over 20 mil, whats a few mil between friendsSo for all houses with no furniture (assuming i used the calculator right and I'm tired and did mis-key one) is about 22,339,500. This khajit better getting picking pockets til her fur drops off.
I believe this is the house you're looking for @SadieJoan:That depends... Does the house in Auridon, Mathiisen, count as being medium, large or a manor? If its a manor, I will probably have to look for a new home, I am far too much of a shopaholic to be able to afford to spend 3.7 million on a house

Prices seem pretty damn reasonable to me. There's something for everyone's price range. I'm going to have to save up if I want a manor, but that's OK.

I guess 20k crowns for a manor?
If they're smart they'll make it more reasonable than 20K crowns for a manor. Why? Because these (the first round of them anyway) are all available for in-game gold.mzapkeneb18_ESO wrote: »I'm more curious about the crown prices since they loving making crazy prices for cosmetics.

At a little over 3.75 million gold per manor an awful lot of people who want those but don't have that kind of gold kicking around are going to think "well dang, maybe I should spend crowns on that". If they also make the cost in crowns super high, then those same people are going to be seeing even more sticker shock at the crown price. Since they're facing a huge expenditure in either gold or crowns, most people would then work out how much the crowns cost them in real money. If they still want the manor that badly after that, they'd most likely work on getting it with gold (possibly by pooling gold between friends/guildies, or whatever) rather than spend the money.
Sure, some people would just plunk down their credit cards and buy it with crowns regardless of the price, but the way for this to be the most profitable for ZOS is to get a lot of people who don't have nearly enough gold to buy the big ones to look at the cost in crowns and say "hmm, that's a lot, but it's not *that* bad, and I'll never have that much gold so I guess I'll buy it".
No idea what the sweet spot is for that, but I'm sure it's lower than 20K.
Of course, I'm not saying they won't price them as high as that, I'm just saying they'd be a lot smarter not to...

Here we have the real reason they are 3.7m and not a reasonable price. If this game was sub based still we would have a far lower price and everyone would also be fine with it. However everyone here is fine with it being a rip off. Saying "Manors are for guilds" etc when nothing has been added to support that from the devs and all while they ignore the fact they added a title which is account based not guild based for ownership of all 3 manors which would take more than 10M to obtain.
This is rubbish.
I have 6M and seriously hope all the houses are rubbish looking so I am not tempted to waste money on a obvious crown store incentive based scam patch...
As someone who has 96% of all PVE based achievements and ONLY plays the game for the enjoyment of getting all the achievements I seriously may have just had my future/continued play determined for me. I dont play games to NOT experience what it has to offer..

I think the medium houses and larger are kind of pricey for players who have not done that or who have spent their gold on their gears and probably had to change them every update. Something like that feels a bit unfair.
Tonight Deltia joked that he doesn't have enough gold to get one of the large houses in his stream. At first I was surprised and thought that couldn't be true but then I realized that when he plays he plays the game not the market. He farms for items, golds them, tests builds, uses pots, does stuff with his guild, makes videos for us to learn... so it made sense to me and then I applied that to all other gamers who have zero interest in the making money for the fun of it in eso. They wouldn't have fortunes if it was not their priority. If gears, golding items, farming sets all that stuff is their priority, they might have far less gold after all of that. Or even the people who spend fortunes to float their merchant guilds. That might be where all their money has gone. So as I think of it, while some have lots of money to waste on this stuff, I can see how many would not. That's sort of a disappointment for those that were just playing the game the way you would if amassing a fortune was not something that interested you at all.

If they overpriced them in Crown costs they'd then have to start selling $200 Crown Packs for people to be able to afford them, which might make even the spendiest person think twice about what they're doing.
