I wonder if such tool would be useful and players would like to have such feature in ESO.

Yes, Trial Group Finder would be very useful, as it's hard to gather enaugh people.

No, there is no need for such feature as there are lots of groups in chat looking for members.

No, since the kicking fiasco would be bigger than any.

This way when you look for trials you can ling achievement the group leader requires as a filter for what they need of you.
Imagine the rivers of utter rage if new players were joining en masse - 15 minutes of waiting being kicked is not quality time.

Also, every third thread would be " kicked in Trials by filthy 1337 for having "just" a 15 CP" or similar.

I forgot to add that trial group finder would include some CP range, even able to set manually by leader. Such tool would be created in different way not like a current group finder, where you get ban after leaving or get kicked.

Trial Group Finder could be useful for normal modes honestly but that's pretty much it.

Although I agree with you both, it would be useful to have an activity finder for trials, as I personally don't find it easy to get into one, just if there's a spot open and they have to resort to chat. Maybe if you had to be CP capped to do it on veteran or something I don't know I'm sure something could be implemented to avoid what you both suggest.

There used to be an option in the group finder at the very beginning of ESO.
Reasons above why they probably removed it.

In order to quell the potential uproar over players lacking in ability to perform in Trials adequately, why not just restrict the Trials Groupfinder to players of Lvl50 CP(insert number here) or greater?

It might work for normal versions though, but even then nMoL will probably be a huge fail with people exploding each other and sinking at the last boss...

I think most of the people in this thread have forgotten that it WAS IN THE GAME already, but they disabled it since the loot scaling was off and they were about to remove vet ranks anyway.

And kicking and Activity Finder need a proper second pass anyway now that the framework actually works.

P.S. I completed all Craglorn Trials (normal) through AF on PC without incident (or even pepper controller support at the time lol)

I have seen full CP capped raids fail nMoL, leave alone vet trials. They had zero coordination on the twins and needed six runners on Rakkhat. CP can't fix stupid.

Normal MOL can be tricky for pugs yes but for SO, AA, HRC, you don't really need coordination so it could work.

Cause the forums not full of threads complaining about the existing group finder tool that finds 3 random players, adding a feature that finds 11 random players would be chaos.

I had to vote yes. After the amount of pugging i have done in dungeons, a random trial group could be the funniest thing id see in this game.

I've had sufficiently bad experiences with running Trials with a bunch of random strangers that I stopped running them with anything other than guildies--and then only from certain guilds. I would never use this feature if it were implemented. I do not support the idea of Zenimax wasting dev time on making that sort of miserable chaos on purpose.

If this was implemented, I could only see it being available for normal craglorn trials. It would also need a cp requirement, at least 160 to not mess up the item drops.

Honestly, normal craglorn trials are easier than vet dungeons in many cases...

I know a lot of people who have never tried a trial because they never had anyone invite them. It can be difficult for new players to figure out how to get into a trial. The gear available in them is great but barrier for entry can be hard on those who don't listen in zone chat or have friends who run them.

Trial group finder would be great only if there is an optional check to be grouped only with max CP players. I know that being max CP is no guarantee that the player will have skill but at least a bad max CP player will do more damage than a bad low CP player.

OMG i dont want see a new LFR that WoW it is the worst feature every add to mmo/mmorpg honest run around with people that just whine on everyone else and say how bad everyone else and how go the are honest please dont add that feature to this game it will just mess thing up more for people that like raid.

Also those boss fight in WoW was/are way to easy so people dont care of do them right the just surge and everything just become a dps party and people just focus on how much dps everyone do nothing else.

In Xbox one there is a really great Xbox live looking for group feature. You can even set what ur doing and requirements a week out to let ppl ask to join.

Even sets the date and time and is viewable or private under the game itself vs using text chat.

Xbox clubs also does this so no need to have a guild invite. Clubs hold thousands of members so either has the off option. It's just a better thing.

I'm not opposed to ZOS adding it but I'd like any off changes to cooperative with the Xbox live log tools for better QoL use.

This eliminates the need to ask ppl their level and role, etc and if u want u can ask for a screenshot to see their build. It's just a great feature.

Maybe great enough that zOS can update theirs

Actually when you gather PUGs from zone chat it's same situation, cuz they can leave group any time and everybody can complain about this, but still it's harder to gather 12 ppl to start a trial. Trial tool could help find such group. About leaving, kicking or CP level, ZOS could easly made it properly to make this tool working well.

What is the difference by grouping up via zone chat and doing same thing via tool if we say it's gonna be always a mess. Even if the tool would only speed up gathering such group I would like to have such tool. I'm using group tool nowadays and it's faster for me to find members than asking in zone, cuz in zone now people are looking for member to do pledges only, and rarely they are looking for members for other dungeons, but it's only for farming set items. If trial finder would give me only faster time with grouping up with people I take it.
