Just asking... I mean, yeah, 4 man dungeons are fun, but somehow I feel like the ESO Lore has so much potential for full scale raids...

    Yeah, I hope they have more trials in the game. While it's true vMoL gives me trouble, I would love more variety as the other 3 trials pale in comparison to vMoL.

    I love the mechanics in vet trials that you just don't see or at a much lesser degree in 4 man dungeons.

    Really? The TRIALS are the raid content?

    Wow... Well, I hope they make some more challenging... They really have to work on the PvE mechanics...
    But hell, even WoW only had "meh" raid mechanics in WoW, guess ESO deserves the same chance to improve...

    That's a good question. From what we have seen , 2015 They had some people leave Zos that were a bit more tradtional MMo.

    And since then we have seen the more Dlc that are pure solo . IC was the last real traditional MMO content we have had even though it was a PvP centric Dlc.

    My guess is with the Departure of Paul sage and the more Matt talks he speaks of the game as a online Rpg. Which was a major uproar when he spoke like that at E3 prior to launch. Then they had to have Paul sage clarify for 2 months following the game was a MMO and a online RPG and that all that tradtional end game would be there. And revealed the adventure zone theory and trial design.

    So the answer to your question is regarding end game raid style content would be a no . I don't think Eso will go that direction they are catering their game to a churn /casual player. So the content will not be for the premium old school MMO player that enjoyed that dynamic.

    ZOS said that they didn't like more than 12 players doing PvE at once because it was too busy/cluttered up the screen, but that was a long while ago and they've changed their minds about other things. The question is whether they see a point to it, and currently they don't seem to be headed toward involved, large-group content.

    Not sure what all of this is^^^^

    Maw of Lorkhaj (Trial 4) arrived during Thieves Guild. They've stated afterward that it takes them about 1 year to create a Trial.

    Vvardenfell is an upcoming, heavily datamined DLC spanning all of Vvardenfell. Not a single POI has been discovered within the proximity of Red Mountain. Very odd.

    In other words, we are pretty much guaranteed a Red Mountain trial considering the potential (huge misstep if they don't create it).

    Either way, future trials are something they plan on doing.

    Have you run the trials? The vet versions are pretty different from the normal versions. I think they have pretty cool mechanics built into them.

    He was asking about Raids, not Trials. More players, much larger. Like if you put all three Crag trials into one event and added another 12 player group. I don't see ZOS making that kind of event for ESO.

    While I would love to see 30 man content, I just don't think this generation of consoles is up for the challenge.

    The game struggles in 1 man content at times (vmsa) so I'd have little faith in a smooth 30 man dungeon.

    I'm sure PC players would love it though.

    They just need to open a single small zone that any and all ppl can go into that spawns a mega boss every Saturday ( once a week ) on a timer or by a large mechanic that requires multiple groups at different parts of the zone.

    It should drop a guaranteed legendary item ( quantity of 1-3 ) or maybe even a token system where you loot it's scales, claws, teeth, ECT to turn in for a legendary item after X amount gained.

    I would not agree with this. Anything that's not instanced is not a challenge if it draws people to it. Look at the difficulty of world bosses and dolmens. People flock to the ones in popular zones and provide zero challenge. Rewarding a legendary item would be a big F**** you to those who earn their legendary gear.

    Try them on veteran before you scoff. Normal mode is pretty easy but not veteran. Have you even done any veteran trials or dungeons.

    If you're asking for 25+man (or anything more than 12) raids like WoW, then no we arent getting those (Thank GOD).

    You do not realize the grand scale of this mega boss. It would be like 50-100 of the hardest world bosses.

    It would take an hour or two just to kill it :D

    The legendary item would be a nice excentive to get ppl to do it, unlike trials whom ppl might not be up to doing for reasons or other reasons they can't do vet trials.

    Like Oondasta from WoW. lol When it was first introduced, the boss had about 800 million health, and took 4, 40 man raid groups to bring him down. Most of his abilities had the possibility of one shotting, and he could NOT be taunted. If you watch the video, all those skeletons you see are the bodies of dead players.
