Nothing compares to making an entire PvE farm group of +30 give up on Molag mid fight to chase you all the way back to your spawn. ✭✭✭✭Yes, I chase people on my ignore listOn the chase? It depends on who's running and how much resources I have. I'm not going to go chase grumpsorc because it's a trap. I'm not going to chase someone when I'm out of magicka. I'm not going to 10v1 chase one dude unless they really get on my last nerve.
On the other end. I'm a sorc, I'm rarely in a group, so running is a lot of what I do. I'm usually 'running' to peel off a bite size chunk of 100 man AD Zerg for lunch.
There's nothing more satisfying in this game than turning around and killing those last two or three try-hards on your tail. The smarter players broke off a long time ago.

I don't get it in a game where there are ZERO consequences to dying in PVP why not just take the hit and respawn. Why spend 5 minutes trying to run across the map away from multiple attackers (I assume this is a situation where you are outnumbered, if you are running from 1 v 1 non-emp you should quit the game) when you can just take an honorable death, try to take one or two with you, and then respawn fresh at a keep no worst for the wear.
The only time I can see running away as a valid tactic is if you are rolling deep into enemy territory for some reason and a respawn means a long ass ride.Greyhame

Nah, I make exceptions. Are they alone and not engaging in warfare? Do they seem to be on their way to a PvE objective? Are they running away or emoting for their life? I remember adventuring just for the lorebooks and skyshards and I still have quests to do myself. I follow the example of Stendarr unless they attack first.
If they're definitely there for PvP, are they running toward the cliffs? Do they have backup waiting? Was I just part of a large keep or outpost defense? These things are not definite nos, but they are things I consider for strategic reasons.
Everyone else gets hunted down, mwahahahaha.0 -
