2H Sword/Maul/Axe
  • Adds base damage, also empowers your next attack after successfully landing a Dizzying Swing.

1H Sword/Mace
  • Adds base damage, activating a Puncture ability provides immovability for 1 second..

1H Axe/Dagger
  • Adds base damage, Increases the benefits of Twin Blade and Blunt by 1.5 X's..

Destruction Staff
  • Adds base damage, Elemental Storm and it's morphs when activated, obliterates all living things in Cyrodiil. (So no change)

Destruction Staff (no troll)
  • Adds base damage, activating a Force Shock ability empowers your next heavy attack.

Restoration Staff
  • Adds spell critical, Steadfast Ward and it's morphs now give 1 extra ward. 8-)

Bow
  • Adds base damage, duration of Hasty Retreat is doubled.

Shield
  • Adds resistance, Defensive Posture and it's morphs can now absorb/reflect 1 additional projectile.

Bacardi and Cola, do it.

    Im not going to weigh in on the proposed bonuses bc im not sure whats troll and what isnt, but it would be really nice if they made magicka swords for us magicka users.

    There's should definitely be PVP Master Weapons. Call them Commander Weapons or something RPish.

    Give them PvP-centric enchants so PvEers don't cry.

    +Mount & Run speed for Bow
    +Extra Impen for a Shield
    +Apply Shield on Purge use for Resto Staff

    Create a PvP equivalent of Minor Slayer and put that a 1h Axe. Maybe a 10% resource regen defuff on players hit with a 2H Axe. And so on.... other unique buffs for other weapons.

    Put the cost at 1mil-1.5mil AP

    Meh.

    No matter how they make them available, the same people that farm AP are going to get them the quickest anyway. At least this way it's a concrete goal for people to work towards, and not an RNG nightmare.

    So the maul makes dizzying swing back into the old wrecking blow. There would be a lot of QQ about this one.

    The destroy one. Shouldn't the heavy attack empower the force shock?

    S&b would be way too OP. at that point, no need to use immovable pots, constant dps, cc immunity, pretty sure you can block cast it, tremorscale build gonna be even more effective.

    The other ones are pretty balanced but the s&b one is the one that would be the most op Imo. I know it's not a serious thread so don't take this as me bursting your creative bubble. I'm just giving my opinion.

    Different discussion, but there's been a lot of suggestions for braindead ZOS to make the AP system a healthier balance between farmers and people who are playing the objectives. Which is what I was referring to in my reply.

    2h-. Your light and heavy attacks heal you for x based on number of enemies hit due to forceful passive.

    1h/s-. Your shield charge removes all snares and makes you immune your 3 seconds

    Destro-. Your weakness to elements also adds a dot for the duration that has a chance to apply status effects to nearby enemies need on your element.

    Resto- your healing ward now gains the effect of both morphs.

    Bow-. Your scatter shot grants you invisibility for 2 seconds of the target is not stunned.

    Dw-. Your blade cloak now

    Haha. I had originally typed out 2 seconds, realized how ridiculous that would be. I think 1 second would end up being alright... mainly cause someone could roll dodge away then still land a stun. But another thing with the 1 handers is that it would make people run some other than 2/5/5 sets. So the whole Tremoscale/Viper/BR combo wouldn't work.

    Agreed. I think I misread your reply. In a perfect world, only things that helped your faction win a campaign would reward AP. Not farming randos at a milegate or resource tower for hours at a time.

    Holy moley, I've been calling for Class sets for forever! There's already a million generic near-useless sets out there. I'm sure adding a few that buff certain class skill wouldn't be crazy time-consuming for them.

    Give me a Templar set that turns Healing Ritual in Blinding Flashes for the 5-piece bonus please.

    I was just trying to think of stuff/effects that people actually do or use in PvP. Maelstrom 2H already has a unique ability for Crit Rush so I was thinking something for Dizzying, and Force Shock is the most common PvP destro ability so I threw that out there. Like I mentioned, this was all just random thoughts, which are wide open to criticism.

    Even though troll-y the base idea is really sick. Maybe the buff could be to the less used skills. Like a buff to cleave or something idk. PvP maelstrom equivalents should be a thing though. Let me use this AP on something besides selling it to motif-wanters.
