I am feeling like nobody is reading my posts. You guys are just cherry-picking a phrase out of context and refuting with my very own arguments that I actually use to support the idea. It's ridiculous to the point of being insulting.

I will try again because this is getting on my nerves already.

CLASS ADDED WITH NO EXPLANATION = BAD

SKILL LINE WITH EXPLANATION = GOOD

Come on! I suggested us to become disciples of Vastarie myself at least five times this week, as a way to introduce necromancy!.

Now now, no need to break out the caps lock, and to be fair I can't be expected to know what you wrote last week since we just met. Keep in mind some people are just trying to make conversation not argue about anything <3

Considering the current classes never existed in lore.....not sure any class is lore consistent.

Now any elemental damage is lore appropriate

    .....why are there classes again....?

Nightblades existed in lore. Tiber Septim himself was one according to some sources.

    As for sorcerers they're everywhere.

Dragon Knights and templars are another story, but I'm glad for their existence.

As for the OP: Warden will probably use frost and nature magic.

I'd love to see a frost-focused class personally!

    @Aeula

Considering this is 1000 years before any TES game is that actually a correct basis. I'm not the best lore TES guy but I'm thinking that's out of context right?

But then to others, there are not these classes in TES lore. There are sorcs, but not as a class, it's more of a school or birth right correct?

Do you want to get a bounty whenever you use a class skill and there is an npc nearby? I would rather have special permission to practice necromancy to explain why I don't get a bounty, like is the case with using Daedric Magic in the Dominion - the Mages Guild has special permission to do so.

I'd be happy pay for the privilege of building a flesh golem and living far away from stinky townies >:D

    I'm concerned @Bumblebeelzebub

This is when I troll the entire ESO community and say I made up the Warden class in my Future Content Thread and that it was all fake

But in truth the Warden will come in the future. I don't see any reason why ZOS would tease adding classes in the past and then spend resources developing the class in the background, with the most notable find through datamining having been added in the recent One Tamriel PTS (Warden skill lines).

I'm 100% sure that the Warden will arrive in the future.

****When the Warden arrives is a totally different question.... ****

I honestly hope a new class NEVER makes it into the game. Skill lines that everyone can have access to , are indeed sorely needed and if you want a cold based skill line , a necromancer themed one and so on , i am there with you shouting at everyone that they need to add them , but NOT TIED TO A CLASS.

I already dislike that there are 4 classes and the game didn't need these either , but for some reason they added them .

A new race tied to cold damage... i don't know any race in the ES lore that could be introduced in the game right now out of the blue , especially since there are 3 races that basically cover the magic play style , which cold is a part of , but sure why not, i dont really mind a new race.

Again the only thing i am absolutely opposed to is skill lines tied to a class , i honestly hope that scrap that idea and just give us skill lines that everyone can get so they can just improve their characters.

I mean , i don't know if this still applies , but if i remember correctly , at the begging of the game , the devs said classes are a template to build upon your you play style and all jazz , so now that we kind of have that sorted out , just add more skill lines to provide more variety.

Apparently I have to, because I was defending the addition of it as a skill line on this very thread, on all of my posts, even on the very post from where you took that phrase from. It really doesn't seem like you are trying to make conversation when you take something out of the context of a bunch of posts and act like I said something completely different.

    All from this thread:

But a Necromancer class, with no explanation why we are not working under Mannimarco and why we are allowed to use necromancy even though it is illegal or at least frowned upon almost everywhere, isn't what I would find ideal.

But world skill line that we learn through a quest that explains this? I'm all for it.

Necromancy doesn't have to be added in a way that makes no sense. It can be added in a lore-friendly way. All it needs is for it to be explained, for you to be granted permission to use it, and preferably for Vanus Galerion to begrudgingly accept what you are doing. Really, this can be done by adding a piece of paper with the permit to the game.
    Abeille wrote: »
There is a way to introduce Necromancy, and it is the same way these were introduced: As world skills, not as a class.

This is literally written right after the out of context phrase you quoted:
    Abeille wrote: »
How can we know that our Necromancer did the same? On the same way, of course. Through the quest that introduced the reanimation skill line.

And I didn't even quote all of my posts on this thread that are saying it should be a skill line.
By putting it on caps, at least I made sure you and the other people acting like I was shutting necromancy down read it :/

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
