Sigh.. The only day I actually have time to play this week and they pull the server offline. Ah well, guess I'll have to keep on working then.

On another note, does WoW have these kind of downtimes? Can't recall it from the glory days of WoW

WoW has been getting tons of DDOS attacks lately. I'm assuming the same is happening to ESO.

Really couldn't believe that was said. The game has improved and improved some more and become accessible to new players. People are coming back in droves and I am enjoying it more than I ever have and I have played since launch. Yeah, ok this maintenance is a pain but *** happens. I think we should be giving them a little praise for continuing to bring us this awesome game!

What about console? There are numerous posts that go unaddressed about our lag and disconnects, which have only gotten worse and worse with time. Last night I disconnected and couldn't log back into that character for about 15-20 minutes. There have been no updates from ZOS regarding and currently is zero hope on the horizon for console players. When we watch PC players play the game, it looks 1000x less laggy than ours, yet ZOS only addresses the issues on PC. Please provide us with updates, I don't think being acknowledged is too much to ask.

Day-one player. At this stage of things, I wonder if ZOS does really exist.

In the world I live, such a technical level is pathetic to say at least, and no company would survive a long time giving such poor and mediocre service to their customers. (+10 hours service interruption on monday, +3 hours yesterday, who knows how many today....)

So, perhaps the thing is that they do actually exist in Tamriel only, so while the servers are down, they do no exist at all... and when the servers are up, they can not cross to our real world...

Anyway ZOS, I just cant say that as much as I love this game, you make me hate it as well, when you constantly demonstrate your incapacity to stay at the competency level that this game deserves.

Bethesda, please sell this game to a serious company, able to keep this game alive and fresh for many years to come¡¡

Ok just logged onto the game went into a public dungeon in alik r desert.. 1st group I come up against and the game simply freezes, followed by a kick to the character screen...hmm only been playing 5 minutes...great if this is the crap ive got to put up with every time they f**k about when they do their " maintenance " I may just as well cancel my subscription and put up with this sh*t without it costing me money.

seriously ZOS?..I watched a u tube video couple of weeks ago from some well known blogger who dissed this game to hell cos of the bugs and laggy servers...but i thought he was just having a bad day but hell I now know what the dude meant.
slowly but surely this game is sucking the life out of me with it's terrible servers.
I'm gonna give it another month and if things have not improved then I'm quitting this game for good
Even if they don't care whether one guy quits cos there are plenty of other fish for them to suck money out of...I will not care either as I won't be pouring money into a dead horse any more.
One month from today ZOS and the subscription ends if things are not improved.

There has been a little bit of server lag for me, but nothing at all similar to your experiences. I guess this is one of the few times I'm happy to have Comcast for internet (*knocks on wood*)

gateway/firewall security issues and conflict. Nothing a 4hr programming quick fix can't fix.
The above, amongst a corrupted coding, is commonly a cause of the latency issues. That, and server overload, etc. Well, a few more factors could also contribute to that issue.

Another maintenance on 12/14 to fix their mess and still problems. Tried to enter the bank in Rawl'kha Reapers Marsh and as soon as I noticed I could not open the door I knew what was coming next. Crash to logon screen.

Well I guess the issues of crashing are still not resolved. ZOS you are on a roll.

In all fairness, Rawl'kha has always been incredibly buggy and laggy, long before the recent patch. I stopped going there because it would crash my game so much. It's just too crowded.

Agree, game is unplayable. Even doing writs was impossible.

Pings from 400 to 15,000, multiple disconnects, unresponsive controls.

What do the behaviour of the groups above have in common with the ESO players whining in the forums over maintenance etc?
