@Skinless_Jerk Game is getting worse as time moves on? So veteran levels, separation of factions, lack of group finder, less dungeons, easily exploitable systems, a heck of a lot less content, etc. etc. was all better than it is now? I would say I much prefer ESO now than before, but to each there own I guess

Yes. The maintenance yesterday was for general performance issues and disconnects; today is specifically for the high ping, which we recently resolved internally (otherwise we certainly would have done it all at the same time yesterday).

Hopefully this will clear the issues up lol, yall having one hell of a bad week it would seem.

I hate to be that guy, but this is getting pretty bad. I have only 4 hours in the morning to play this game and get work done and most of the time the server has been down. Please consider maybe rotating the times, but I assume you've look into the least amount of active users?

I know SWTOR did maintenance at 2am. It maybe inconvenient for employees to work at that time, but its very inconvenient for players to constantly shift to other games.

I'm a pvp player so yes, performance wise it feels like it's getting worse. I really like and enjoy certain implementations like craft bags, chat box, combat text but let's not be overly generous because these things really should have been in this 'MMO' on release.

Yeah would be nice, but this time it is to fix something seriously wrong.
When you have rollbacks losing progress, DCs, etc., it doesn't do much good to play anyway.

So this is the third day in a row of maintenance. Quite possibly the last two were to fix issues introduced from the first day of maintenance. Truly sad. Pls call Bethesda Softworks and ask them to buy you brand new working servers and a network team specialists to help run things over here for xmas. Tell them that it's just to hold you over while the suckers gamers fork over all their spare coin for your crown crates and that all that money will be a nice steady stream of revenue but until then you have to get things up and running because people won't buy crown crates for an MMO that can't manage to stay consistently online.

It is ZOS.
The devs have issues they have not been able to resolve. It's obviously complex; probably on an engine level all the way to budget considerations. So if you love the game as I do; you continue doing what you are. Scratching your head, yelling at the screen, yelling at ATT, writing scathing comments in these threads, resetting your router, etc, ad nausium. sp

Im not at all surprised, its getting close to the holidays, barring any major issues, they are people with families as well. They deserve to be with their families.

So true. That million could go toward upkeep and salaries. Though it might well be a write off though I am uncertain because I don't recall seeing other games do this but I might not have been paying attention.

I'm surprised since you should know what the typical cycle of maintenance is. They've messed up and are now fixing it instead of waiting until next Monday.

Not ideal by a long shot, but make the best of what you're given since they won't give you any more.

From others who have posted on here that is the MEGASERVER IP address. Check to make sure you are not getting a bunch of timeouts after att.net

You will get a timeout from any server that does not support ICMP message requests, which is a lot. They turn it off to help mitigate DOS attacks.

The hamsters that run the servers had their holiday party on Sunday night. Three days later and they are all still hung over. This week's maintenance windows have been ZOS staff giving the hamsters more and more coffee and aspirin.
