From others who have posted on here that is the MEGASERVER IP address. Check to make sure you are not getting a bunch of timeouts after att.net
I would actually believe this if it was only a few players that had the issue. BUT, ALL 12 players were booted at the same time back to character select screen... not out of the game (timeout)... but back to character select screen.
In addition to this, Everyone is from all over the world. We had players from Canada, Eastern USA, The Mid-West, California, and Australia playing with us all at the same time, and so I doubt that every one is routed through the same networks.
There is something seriously horrid going on with these servers, and yes, I do feel ZOS is to blame due to not keeping up with regular weekly maintenance. Everyone is complaining about the lag spikes, and the rubberbanding, rollbacks, and not being able to sign into certain character, etc, etc.
Just because you're from all over the world doesn't mean your connection doesn't funnel through a specific host connection, in this case ATT. I'm timing out before even reaching the ZOS IP.
It looks to me like that last working hop is in Dallas Texas, so the world connections are probably all funneled to that one router in the stream.
I've never seen rubberbanding in ESO, but I am always surprised when I see another rollback.

The weirdest thing is my Keybinds keep getting wiped.

exactly what mine says, everyone might be blaming ZOS when in reality its AT&T fault
Mountain33r wrote: »Its not actually your router if you are getting that tracert time out. Its the router in the chain that you are connecting to, like mine is stopping at the AT&T router it looks like. Might be worth talking to your ISP about see if they can push the information along. I dunno if ZOS can do anything about it.
As. Stated this drop hits after AT&T on the trace so seems AT&T may be an issue not ZOS. My area of expertise is appdev programming more than networking so I'm not 100% sure.
Oh, well. hope this gets cleared up soon. Missing out on my assassination quota
Furthermore, this post is about people having trouble logging onto their chars. If they can log into the character select screen, there's nothing wrong with the connection to the server.

On the back end of things, login servers, character select servers, and the game servers are all different. It would be horrible design having such key things to be sharing the same resources.
Dearest @ZOS_GinaBruno could you please have the lads look into this once you get into the office in the AM
You're our only hope! And our favorite summons able ZOS type person

.
Well, I was finally able to re log into my third character of the night. Also was able to whisper OP, and they are having just as bad luck as ever.
Tried to log into number 4 of my main account's 12 characters and got punted to login screen.

No... this post is about people being kicked from the servers in the middle of a trial, but NOT kicked (or logged out) of the game, ONLY their characters.
Other players are reporting issues logging into their characters as well as other issues related to the servers, in addition to bad pathing though ATT's networks.
