Okay, I'm so frustrated, my last 5 groups were awful, how? How can the DPS not kill the trash mobs at the start of fungal 2, I don't think I will ever try veteran with pugs

Be more selective in your group. Only group with friends/guildmates. Request people who have experience.
Tons of ways to "quality control" your group. There is no problem in being selective with who you group with, just make sure you meet your own requirements or it is not fair to the other players.
Gotta ask though... if you have had 6 bad groups in a row, are you positive it is 100% on the other players?

When I use group finder I get a good crew 7/10..
Those other when I get bad groups I find it's not low cp players but high ones, which always boggles my mind. I healed for a group of three Germans on final boss of vet wayrest. I think they had been in there for a few hours, thankfully I only had to do final boss with them but they were all over 400cp and only used light / heavy attack.
Boss took us about 45 min.. funny thing was that even though I remained quiet and just did my best to keep these completely broken armor, non blocking guys alive for nearly an hour, when it finally ended they all said it was the best and most intense dungeon fight they had ever experienced and legitimately celebrated the victory with one another. So sure I might have wasted my time camping a boss for 45 min with a rag tag crew, but I signed up for group finder and that's the group I found. if you're looking to speed run dungeons, don't use group finder.

Latelys I've had some really bad groups, I'm trying to get some pro tips on how to save time, that moment u realize the group is hopeless,
One I have is, if they take many tries on the first boss it's probably hopeless
Not to support bad player character or whatever, it's just I've waisted so much time doing veteran dungeons with either a DPS that was as useful in DPS as I was (as a tank) or a healer that was just crap
Just now I abandoned a group that was just taking embarrassingly long in the first part of fungal grotto 2... Any one have any time saver tips
