I am not a fan of housing in MMOs. I am not against it, I just don't feel I need it. Sure, I used housing in Elder Scrolls games, but that was because:
(1) There was nothing else to spend gold on;
(2) It was about the only way to get storage

In ESO, I would make some effort to get housing if there was storage included. It makes sense that your house would allow you to store things. I don't see the point of the house otherwise.

Without storage, I might get a house if I ever get to the stage where I have gold to spare. Not happened yet, and not likely to happen any time soon.

I would definitely not pay crowns for housing. I would pay crowns for storage, although I am not advocating that be an option because it is pay to win.

In summary, I am not excited about housing. I like how it is being implemented. I am glad people like it and that it will keep people playing. Personally, I am not that interested. What would interest me: more zones to explore, more challenging solo content, Cyrodiil working better.

I'm thinking it could be used as a makeshift guild hall. If you can allow guildies in, why not

Yes, they definitelly didn't say, that there won't ever be storage with housing. Just that they selected some aspects and worked those first.

I'll try and turn it into my new "Hub" in the game also I'll try and fix it up so it feels like a real home for my character too. That's my plans for it anyway.
