@Pallmor , the sceleton has about 3 million health, so it won't die in a second and you can use it for combat reports.

For the most part it's just decorating and finding a nice location for me. In most mmo's I played I had a nice and cozy house.

In SWG I lived on different planets and housed over 6000 items in those buildings. I was a real hoarder in that game. I did decorate everything so I could display my loot and cool items. Also had a town on Tatooine called Mos Oritos and was caretaker of the town Red Phoenix on the planet Lok. Also I was a resident of the grand city of Lianorm on Naboo. And I had some random houses on convenient locations across the galaxy. And I was rich in that game, had a wife and owned several speeders. Yup I wish that was my real life. I even was selected as a Warden by the devs so I could silence goldsellers and other chat spammers.

I think most of my time in that game was actually roleplaying and decorating.

Oh I know, @NewBlacksmurf , But my characters will not settle with same style. Mage guild scholar khajiit obviously needs different place than my fighter-grafter khajiit. You don't think so?

I love the idea of all my characters having their own small/medium homes, but also meeting up in a large home that is essentially a base of operations for their combined skills and talents. They're all Daggerfall Covenant, so I like the idea that they meet up occasionally for the bigger events. Avengers of Tamriel I guess

Depending on what the island costs and it's size... I hope to get that and allow the guilds I am in to use it for duel tourneys, assuming of course dueling is allowed at homes.

Other than that, without a storage feature homes are about worthless to me except for maybe the free waysrhine.

I spent about half an hour yesterday travelling around to each house to figure out which houses were the best fit for my characters.

I will probably use them for roleplay as well, but since my only current RP character doesn't need more than a small room I will also create my 'dream home' for her (or rather me), probably a Khajiit medium filled with lots of small things from sweetrolls to books and alchemy bottles. I'm a little disappointed because I haven't seen an orc longhouse(?) in the video, but I might get one as well for my main. She's the hunter and the warrior and could use a room for trophies, and a nice big fireplace, and a shed for the wolf.

That is, if I continue to play ESO consistently after that update releases. My main incentive to continue playing was Player Housing and personally the hype is gone for me

Why no storage what an inane feature to add to the game. If I could store in the house it would be such a welcomed addition. If the house size determined how much I could store, then damn I'd be saving for the one in craglorn. But for it to have zero storage. What's the point?

Other than DPS dummy, there's no point in owning a home and if they do add DPS dummies to other areas outside of your home, there really won't be a purpose until storage is added but I'm not holding my breathe on that either.
