Quite unfortunate what happened to Final Fantasy. Used to be the best character and stories around. Now it's about japanese anime emo teens fighting weird creatures in a futuristic modern fantasy world, following a convoluted story, all the while trying to maintain their dragon ball z haircuts.

Have only been playing it a year but am addicted. Nothing else is as good. There is a variety to what you can do that stops (most of) any boredom. Can chose from a variety of quests or go play pvp. Or a dungeon. Or go fishing. Or just skip around the world enjoying whatever happens.

Shall stop as have noticed a sad tendancy to bore people on this subject

I have so much that I haven't accomplished in this game yet. I am around cp300 and I have just started silver. I am working on completing each zone before I move on to the next and that includes the fishing achievements. I am slowly working my towards running dungeons and going to Cyrodiil. (I keep telling my self that I need to get all my passives before I start those.)

I will get there eventually but right now I am just enjoying the game/story.

For me I think it's the gameplay and I can play the way I want to I guess but when riding back to a keep for the sixth or seventh time with a few randoms in my alliance knowing that we are going to get melted again (probably by the same people) I'm still having fun and laughing about it

I'm just a little curious still about what's coming next : the possible warden classe is appealing but will definitely not be enough to make me stay.

I'm quite disappointed about the superficiality of the various features of this game, and I'm an occasional player... which is eloquent enough.

Despite its flaws, it's still the best MMO out there. I also happen to be a big fan of the Elder Scrolls universe.

It won't stop me from complaining about problems and praising the strengths.

Personally, I am still here because this is my favorite game. I did unsub on Crown Crate release day, so there was no misunderstanding on the date of my decision to unsub. I wont be participating in the crown store any more with the exception of outright purchasing DLC.

We vote with our dollar, I think in the long run, if enough of us stop tossing money at Zenimax due to the Crown Crates its possible they will amend the system to be more fair at the very least or just scrap it.

I have faith in the Dev's, I don't have faith in the Marketing Department. I believe the Dev's are on the player's side and want to make a fun enjoyable game, the Marketing guys care only about how much cash they squeeze out of us.

Unfortunately only a small portion of the entire gamebase visits the forums. But I can tell you that out of the hundreds of active players spread between my guilds I haven't heard a single positive word in chat about Crown Crates. They all think the system itself is far to predatory.

But Ill keep doin what I do and eventually Ill get over the sting of letting cosmetics come and go w/o buying them, heck, in the long run ZoS did me a favor by releasing these crates, ill save about 1500 bucks a year.

I still enjoy doing the variety of things you can do in the game, you get bored with dungeons, go and do writs, get bored with that, go and do some PVP, get bored with that, go exploring or treasure hunting. One day I'll get bored with these and do the TG or DB quest lines.

Staying at home and playing this while enjoying a few quiet drinks is a heck of a lot cheaper and safer than going out these days. Can't get in trouble for DUI while riding a horse through Cyrodiil........ or can I?

I'm still here because I think the game is fun. Yes certain things irritate me, and some things make me crazy. And I have this tendency to beat dead horses, so....

No really though, I still think the game is fun. And I have these in game goals that change depending on my day/mood. Until I am no longer having fun, and the day arrives where there are no goals left to achieve, I'm sure I'll be around. Because I do actually have a problem with beating dead horses.

Im still here because of the theorycraftings in this game. When it comes to tactics, group setups, skills, rotation and gear, there is many possibilities outside of the current meta.

Because, despite all the bugs, imbalances, flaws, quircks and other problems... I still have fun. I've been playing PC games since the early 90's, and Arena, Daggerfall and Battlespire were games I grew up. I don't remember half of 2002. That's how much of my life Morrowind sucked out.

I'm a fan of the game because of the rich lore and awesome gameplay. When it stops being fun I'll wander off somewhere else. I have a lot of issues with ESO, and I imagine when ZOS sees my name on feedback or forum posts it's like "Here we go again, it's THAT guy..." but I genuinely love the game, the community and (yes) even the dev team. I get frustrated a lot, but only because I think ZOS is always kind of just steps away from sheer unadulterated greatness.

TL:DR Elder Skooma Online is addictively fun.

For me personally it's just lack of alternatives. If I had a better option I would have likely left a long time ago. As it stands, once I get a better computer I might seriously consider alternatives.

Right now, I'm hoping this game gets drasticallly better with the ballance changes.

I've spent 4 years in Morrowind, 1,5 year in Oblivion, almost a year in Skyrim, so 2 years here is not end of my journey ( I hope so)
