just sell for 10,000 tel var pls so i dont have to spend another 3 days farming

Why does everything need to be available for Tel Var? Just spend your Tel Var on something else, flowers perhaps, then sell the flowers and buy your alloy. And they call PvE players carebears.

first of all i barely pvp anymore since its so crap on xbox rn

So you have 600k tel var that you are only willing to spend on temp alloy? You could spend it on something else to resource exchange into alloy, but you can't do that because you need flowers for potions even though you aren't actually counting your 600k tel var toward that. Your logic makes no sense.

flower price has gone down so much since they have become purchasable so it would be almost worth nothing especially columbine.

i literally could sell columbine for 2k a piece in some zones at the right time of day now i cant sell it for 200 gold a piece

You do not need gold equipment, you want it. Take your time with the game, there is no rush.

Ummm wrong. Those rune boxes sell for 300k, you know the ones you can only but with tel var

You can buy 2 of the polymorph runeboxes and sell them and still have 100k Tel Var left over... They go for 500-600k on PC, so I imagine they must go for even more on console.

Dunno what server but xbox na seen people asking to buy them at minimum 250k.

And don't mind the trolls in game, they always spout off crap. Had a kid follow me around when I was selling ambrosia recipe, he offered 15k I declined then he proceeds to call me all manor of unflattering names.

yea idk if i listed the in a trader for a nice price and left it for a month it would eventually sell but in zone not a single person wants to buy them cuz they're cheaper than me

1) Have hirelings on all your alts
2) Log into all alts every time you play
3) Have one alt with all extraction and refining traits maxed
4) Drop rate for me is about 1 gold temper per 150 mats refined. Plus there's what I get from deconstruction. I'm careful with what I improve. I only improve to purple or gold when I have a build that's proven useful in blue. So it just piles up on me. I think I have about 50 of each gold temper or something like that, without even doing writs that much. I don't even bother to count purple or blue.

How much temper do you need? You outfitting a whole guild or something? 600,000 telvar - I'm not sure with 1T, but you used to be able to sell Telvar Armor Sets for gold. Lots of people would be willing to pay at least 4k gold for a piece of Black Rose instead of Grinding Imperial City for a few hours. So that would be 150 pices at 4k gold each - that would be 600,000 gold. You can't buy enough tempers with 600,000 gold?

2 guild mates if mine sold telvar for a 1 to 1 gold conversion two days PS4 NA.

I hate the temper rates but you have options you choose not to use for whatever reason.

You do not have to grind it you can buy it you choose not to.

Not to mention writs.

It is easy to make a crafting level 50 smith and assign 10 points to level out the skill (hint: rubedite intricate stuff can be had from writs/loot and is cheap to buy from guild merchants).
I now have 5 smiths doing top tier writs every day;
From these I have 3 sets of gold heavy armor, all my characters have multiple sets of gold weapons and I still have 120 tempers in the bank.
I have never bought a gold temper the entire time I have played ESO.

Occasionally I have to spend some time farming rubedite ore, but you do get plenty of ore from writ surveys to help. Perhaps I farm 2-4 hours a fortnight.

If you plan ahead and spend a little time doing writs & gathering it is easy to supply yourself the materials you need.

As people have said before, if you want to maximise your gear with your available resources;

You dont need gold armor, it is not vital to being competative in PvE or PvP
Use your tempers for gold weapons

You can make purple armor cheaply and when you find a set(s) that you are sure you like, then 'gold' it.

If you cant't find the time to raise a few smiths skills to 50 or are too lazy too, then grind some mobs, run some dungeons, quest another character to 50. Hell I recently did cadwells silver/gold on an alt and ended up with a *** of skill points, CP and 500k in the bank from rewards & selling the loot. I also have about 200k worth of stuff I can sell on the guild trader when I can be bothered. Plenty of gold to buy any tempers if you don't want to gather them yourself.

Typical drop rates have been rather consistent at 1 in 20 refines (1 in 200 ore) for a long time - there's a fellow who keeps track of this over several thousand refines for each patch - though I can't remember whom.

OP, you seem to be pretty much bang on what would be expected by the estimated drop rates of gold tempers.

Legendary gear is supposed to be... um, legendary. I don't understand where people get this notion in their heads that they should be running gold gear with gold jewelry. The only piece of equipment that should be gold is your weapon. Everything else will be just fine as purple. The difference when it comes to purple-vs-gold armor color is so small that you won't be able to notice it in all the background noise of combat randomness.
