If she were a drug addict, would you demand her dealer stop selling drugs? Hopefully not.

I am afraid she will use your gambleboxes to get the new stuff. I have the fear I come home one day with 20.000 euros debit on my creditcard

Seriously, if this is a problem then crown crates are the least of your worries.
She already has access to everything in the crown store, or buying thousands of crown points. Has it been a problem? Clearly not as you still using your card.
Nothing wrong with the suggestion. It's not like it will affect anyone else, so there's not much to complain about.

In this particular case... (assuming the case is real and not fake, which I personnally doubt)
1. Cancel the credit card (the one used for eso+ for both acoounts)
2. Get a new credit card for yourself and don't give your wife its information
3. Get a new DEBIT card with limited debit for both your subs (or use a different service with limited debit like Paypal, Steamwallet, etc.)
Problem solved.
Above method works also with children, gambling addicts, etc.

Exactly. Lock it down. If she's a 42 year old woman she should show a bit of self restraint anyway, but if that's impossible you do it for her. Even if ZOS complies do you think it will be instantly?
Here's my question ... do all of these people calling ZOS out for feeding into their problems understand that internet gambling - or I guess shopping in this case - exists everywhere? What's next, are you gonna call Amazon and tell them to stop selling shiny objects?
Grow up people.
Why does nobody have any sense of personal responsibility anymore?
Seriously I'm genuinely curious.

Grow up people.
I can take care of me and my wife and nothing will happen, don't worry.
But I am pretty sure some people will end up paying loads of money for one item they want and still not have it.
But ok go ahead, dismiss an idea to put an optional lock in it. It's a good idea and won't hurt anyone. To bad some people who can take responsible actions for them selves think everybody in the world must be able to do it to. If that was the case here wouldn't be so many drug/alcohol/gambling addicts.
