Everyone need guard? You want equilibrium?
My point is: You will have enough points to unlock all the viable skills and passives.
Let's see how much skill points would Jack of all trades need in his passive skills.
Let's say that Jack is a DK Nord Vampire who love to swing from magicka and stamina a lot.
He is also a master crafter, provisioner, alchemist and enchanter.
Jack also love both PvP and PvE, and have multiple roles in both depending on his mood.
Here are skill points Jack invested in his passives. So, in total, just on passives, Jack of all trades would spend 264 skill points.
- Racial - 9/9
- DK - 24/24. All skill points in passives of class tree.
- Weapons - 50/50. Jack is a swinger, using all weapons depending on build
- Armors - medium - 11/11
- Armors - heavy - 11/11
- Armors - light - 11/11
- Legerdemain - 10/20. Jack is also a thief to some extent
- Soul Magic - 1/6. Anything more than one point in Soul Lock is just crazy.
- Vampire - 7/9. Who use feeding anyway, lol.
- TG - 3/11. Clemency, Veil, Escape.
- DB - 3/11. Supplier, rider, spectral assassin.
- FG - 9/9. All is good
- MG - 7/9. Mage adept is useless for anyone who does not use equilibrium.
- Undaunted - 4/4
- AvA assault - 6/6
- AvA support - 4/6. Combat medic and Battle Res are great.
- Crafting - Alchemy - 14/20. Jack has eyes without keen eyes, ty. And snakeblood is bs.
- Crafting - Enchanting - 15/21. Hireling brought Jack some crap tier rocks and had to die.
- Crafting - Provisioning - 20/23. Connoisseur? Rubbish. Leave that to bretons.
- Crafting - Blacksmithing - 15/25
- Crafting - Clothing - 15/25
- Crafting - Woodworking - 15/25
That leaves 104 points to spend on skills and morphs.
I bet Jack would love to see morphs being free of skill points.
That would make Jack real boy, just like Pinokio.

toon i'm playing at the moment is a magplar. have all the necessary skills for that, class and weapon. should i get bow and 2 hand?
why? i have ranged stuff and it is not a melee class.
got all crafts maxed and working on other world and guild stuff.
why would you need to max all skills on one toon?
Because some of us don't want to keep replaying the same game from scratch to experience a little more variation? And it's not like I'm asking there to be of changing your class or whatever, But if I want my Mag Sorc to also excel at stam especially when points are there to input, I feel that should be applicable without starting a new game. And that doesn't imply I want everything handed, I'm just saying I don't see logic.
If they wanted us to make seperate accounts for everything, then they should've also removed All the stam options for a magic build and vice versa. I guess it's for some balancing fluidity ordeal
But i guess most of you like it this way and that demographic is targettedas many of you have reached max level on all accounts, congratz for that

I don't know about most of us but there is at least one of you who is determined to not use the available choices in the game (like re-speccing for example) to play his one and only character the way he wants and wants instead to just be salty and snide and ignore reasonable suggestions because he already made up his mind that his idea is better than the way the game is designed.

This is called a general discussion. Not a "my opinion is the ultimatum", so kindly get of your namecalling and understand I made this thread to ask WHY can I not reach 100% and the purpose behind it, not the , I'm NOT determined to go against everything for the sake of it. The suggestions offered to me were "How to get skill points" which were not relevant to my question. We all know how to get skill points and there are a trillion videos and google tips on it at a click of the button. God everyone's obsessed with the words triggered and salt these days.
The more important question is: Why would you need all the skills at once?
The more important question is: Why would you need all the skills at once?
Guild wants to do PvP, and invite me just after I finished random PvE dungeon. That means I need to go to respec, spending 10-15 minutes tweaking skills and passives.
After few hours, Guild is about to go vAA or something. If I ain't ready, others might get their place there, since there are usually spare tanks waiting for this. Alas, instead of being able just to change few morphs and skills on the run, I have to go to respec shrine, it will give me back all points, and I am under pressure not to f up and there goes my 15 minutes in frantic respec again. So I had to spend 30 minutes doing ultra boring thing under pressure of forgetting to add all passives or similar. Not fun, in my book.
