It's funny you bring up AP. Some of the best PVPers I know are some of the poorest players in the game. Refusing to step out of Cyrodiil can really hamper your financial situation.

Here are a few things that applied to me that may help those guys with a small amount of gold.
- Until I got my end game gear on my main all gold I could never make a dent. Getting this done helped a lot.
- Farm for materials and do your writs.
- 5000 a week for a good trader is a ton. 10,000 a week for a GREAT trader is peanuts. Search these forums for a great trader.
- Post things for sale at 80% of the "market rate". I'd rather make 800 gold today than 1000 gold 2 weeks from now.
- Keep 30 items listed and sell things people want. Reagents, CP160 materials, impenetrable gear, and stacks of ingredients have been great sellers for me.
- Hoard your gold upgrade materials. They are the only thing that always go up in value. I have been selling my dreugh wax and rosins because I don't need them but I make sure to alway have 16 and 8 on hand just in case. Don't ever sell your tempering alloys.

✭lol Ive been a millionaire 3 times in eso. Most I ever got up to was just shy of 3 mil. Shineys... damn shineys... workin my way back up again, at about 700k. Thing is, I outfit my family and do things for my guildies so that penny saved is a penny spent pretty damn quick lol! Meh its just gold, I can farm moar.

✭I'm surprised by some of these figures. It's really not that easy to make money on ESO. 1 hour of grinding might get you a couple of hundred ks worth of stuff, but that's it. The people who are in the millions have either a. been playing for a really long time, so they can accrue that much by just selling what they get or b. are focusing on money-making through guild traders or buying/reselling.
That said, I've never really wanted to have more than a few million, because gold inflation devaules that gold over time. I'd rather spend my surplus gold on assets (like gold tempers) since they provide utility and can be sold of in the future at a typically higher price than when I bought them.
I would hate to be without a little bit of cash though, in case something comes up that makes me want to spend a lump sum. 1 mil is a great benchmark. Gratz, OP!3 -
