It's incredibly expensive and if someone casts it then just get the Hell outta dodge until the channel is over. Honestly I've only found it useful against the four guards at a Resource. NativeJoe✭✭✭✭✭...right... Well you guys do know that any good player can get away from it, Move and or negate the effect of this one ultimate. Any class too. Point being if your build can't handle this you need to adapt, the game doesn't need to adapt to you...there are already plenty of counters to it.
Things u can do:
1.Wear gear that can withstand it. Plenty of builds out there can stand in it, take sustained dps, and be just fine.
2. Move
3. burst time. I personally only pop it when I'm getting desperate and need some breathing room; so a counter ult and burst combo will more then likly end the torrent of destruction.
4. Bring a healer
5. slot the healing ultimate This ult can and will out heal the dps of this ult and costs less then half as much.
6. CC the person casting it. (if they chose the morph that moves with them...simply Root them or cc them.)
7. simply be a templar
In other words... this ultimate isn't the end of the world. Just like how Viper, tremor scale, and widow combo isn't. Nor is infernal gaurdian. If your running a build that can't handle these combos, then change it...

Kite the 4 that will chain you around for a bit to be sure the proc delay is clear. Pop the ultimate just before they get into position, the ultimate procs grothdar while you are staked out, then you are freed. Hitting one with a debuff helps.Xbox NA0 -

That probably is the solution. Like with the proc sets, i can just kill the enemy before he even hits me!
Tank you very much for your advice, I will whisper it to all the guys that got killed from my or others EotF/VD/Grothdarr/Alchemist builds.
And if I would have worn Bastion of the Heartland AND Reactive Armor while my pocket healer sat on that tree i use to mist form to and LOS away, I wouldnt ever have died to the EotF trains in cyro

✭On multiple death recaps last night I had all 3 of the ultimates. Usually only 1 tic for each. We were in a group of 4, outnumbered by groups of 12-15 in the districts.
The ult hits hard and does its job well. I think the main issue is it's not showing on the ground like other attacks.
No red circles, you look for the other cues but by that time we were dead anyways.
I just laughed as my best death recap had all 3 destro ult elements and radiant sprinkled in there for flair.2 -

And at this point I'd ask how is the player geared? Wearing your PvE gear int cyrodiil is certain quick death (unless your geared poorly for PvE).0
