Sprint Lock bug is still happening. It happens to me a lot in Maelstrom.

I think what may be the cause, is if you are sprinting and you are crowd controlled (knocked down, snared, etc).

It happens to me the most on stage 9 when the boss throws his skulls. I'll be sprinting to grab a gold ghost and get hit, and then can't do anything after until I hit sprint and unsprint again. Usually ends in my death because of everything going on.

could you please be more descriptive in what you mean by the term "monster" ?
there seems to be a bit of confusion as to what this term's meaning is when we are talking about NPC's.
not trying to be rude, just not sure on the specific's of what you guys mean by "monster"
