Should There Be Other Dark Brotherhood Sanctuaries for Players to Access?

This Khajiit thinks that the outlaw dens are just hiding spots that don't have any relationship to each other. Remember that to do thieves guild quests and dailies you also have to go to the sole hideout in Hew's Bane. So there is a trend that is being followed. might also have an impact that they in restricted area that require prepayment while the Outlaw dens are open to all - so could be reason we have to dash back to the relevant areas to get word (taxes would be incurred for the "services")

This Khajiit would support having easier access to both but fears there might be to much internal politics and that is why they not yet come to an arrangement to make life easier for all special operatives.
That's not the case, as the Thieves Guild main quests can be started at the Outlaws Refuges (or, at least, they could at one point - haven't looked recently).

Same for the Dark Brotherhood main quest. You can find Amelie in any Outlaw Refuge.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

What would be nice, on the topic of splitting the justice system, is if each faction had its own bounty level, but at a certain bounty level in any of the factions (say 2000) you can no longer use wayshrines to fast travel. You have to use the navigators in the major cities to get around. So while you COULD go on a crime spree in wayrest, and flee to vulkhel guard where you are a free man, you wouls have to hoof it to the boat, and avoid guards on the way.

Yes but Amelie is not a member of the DB until AFTER you join. She doesnt represent them or their interests, she only sets you down the path to seeking them out yourself. Her being in the Outlaws Refuge really doesnt impact the argument that they should be there.

Same as the Thieves Guild. While it could be initiated there the person you interact with has not joined the Thieves Guild yet and does not represent their interests.

All of the Thieves Guild main quests can be started from the Outlaws Refuges. Andarri turns up there with them, and she's definitely a TG member. @Abeille is it the same for DB? Does Amelie turn up in the Refuges for every DB main quest after the first one?

    So... basically Outlaws Refuges then?

Sorry I was thinking more in a continuance aspect. The NPCS like Quen and Amelia are only there to START you on the lines. I'm saying have an NPC to continue the lines so you don't have to continuously return to the Gold Coast and Hews Bane

Oh dear, I have no idea. But I assume that's not the case. I imagine the Matron wouldn't turn up in the Outlaw Refuges, and she gives us most of our DB quests, Amelie just starts it.
But give me a day and I'll test it on the PTS (I can't do the quest again on Live, my other characters wouldn't do it, only my Breton would).

Edit: But if it is worth anything, you can find Remains-Silent in any and every Outlaw Refuge.

Considering the main quests take place exclusively in gold coast/hews bane, and are advanced by different npcs at different stages, it wouldnt make sense to have a rep outside of the sanctuary.

Unless you mean continuing the main storyline beyond what is currently released.

One way to have more sanctuaries... would be additional chapters for DB questings. I could imagine some where the general theme is to reclaim a lost sanctuary... like the one in black marsh you visit during the events of the questline... and step by step, restore it much like the hollow city...

Though I am not sure they would want that, I would imagine if they make more guild-themed DLCs, they would go for new guild to tempt more people into buying them, and not only those who enjoyed the DB murderings...

They could add additional, short chapters as side quest lines in big DLCs. Like how Orsinium have some quest lines that are just about helping recurring characters and are not related to the main quest line at all.

I don't expect to see anything DB-related in Vvardenfell because that's Morag Tong territory (the Speaker said Vvardenfell is beyond their reach, if I remember it correctly). But maybe if they ever release another big DLC we could have that.

I do find more stand-alone DB or TG DLC to be unlikely, as much as I would like it to happen. Well, I would "sorta" like it to happen, because at the same time I would fear ZOS could kill some of my most beloved characters if they are brought back.

Enodoc does raise a good point/reasoning.

But I think in terms of lore it wouldn't make sense either, the dark brotherhood has always been in constant flux due to their actions drawing way too much attention to a specific sanctuary or the fear the used was no longer effective and were destroyed in that region of tamriel. You only have too look at the story in skyrim two ages later to see that it can happen.

One sanctuary always gets destroyed but another is always rebuilt.

I'm sure there are likely or would be likely some out there but generally speaking it wouldn't matter much not all dark brotherhood sanctuaries need be used.
