I always figured it was something in an update that caused this to happen. For me it started in early 2015. Light attack weaves with crushing shock would be interrupted and only the light attack would fire or sometimes only the CS. Those happens most often with my sorc for some reason.

One thing I remember was it was all of a sudden. One day no problems with the LA weaves, then an update ( don't remember which one ) and then it started.

I don't know about your Razer, but my MMO7 has advanced settings that let you control the length of time for the simulated key press/release. If yours has that, you just need to play with it and set it to a lower value and see if that fixes it.

But as noted on the linked thread, it's still sort of wonky for some skill/weapon combos - that's the game, not your mouse.

Probably a minor version of what I got two days ago.

Everything about casting, weaving and swapping is buggy for me now.

Clunkyness of skills and things not firing has been an issue for as long as I can remember. But never as bad as it is now.

Messed up weaving has been around since the thieves guild patch where they pushed the animation prioritization changes

I think a lot of the recent problem is ZOS has a shedload of new players running on the same finite resources (hardware).
The server response has been getting diabolical since 1T hit and there are loads and loads of new players.
Until they bring new hardware online, I think its going to be really difficult to tell the root of the problem.

Sigh I know right. Bs. It's a bizarre change and ZOS has never officially commented. At least give us some indication that it was intended or it's a bug. I'm inclined it's their way of fixing animation canceling to appease the anti animation canceller crowd. But because they don't want to *** off the animation canceling crowd they stay silent about their intentions.

Hey ZOS, what ever happened to promoting transparency and effective communications? This is a big deal to our mechanical gameplay and we deserve something.

UPDATE FOR EVERYONE:
It seemed to have fixed itself for the past few days but now seems to be occuring yet again on a different character.
This time my stamina nightblade, I light attack and hit bloodthirst, when i try it with my mouse button 4 it doesn't go through and only causes a light attack to occur. However when I hit light attack and 4 on my keyboard, it works perfectly.

The mouse input seems to work randomly and then not work randomly.
The keyboard input works 100% of the time.

HOLY CRAP i never realized this but yes, It is always my "4" key. which im most comfortable with for my spam/filler ability haha

I just use a generic mouse and keyboard and it works fine for canceling . I block cancel short animations and light attack cancel longer casts .

As long your clicks show up there it works. The actual button inside the mouse is pretty generic so you can take an old mouse and swap out the button underneath the paddles if you have a soldering iron. Easily saves $100. (if you go that route and need any help PM me) A lot of times the button will not fail 100% but fail at certain angles from which the paddle strikes it. Try the click test from all angles of the paddle.

But more likely it's this messed up broke animation system. We are all suffering from it, and we have all been trying to get a response about it from them but so far the only response has been to lock the thread.

Oh yeah of course. How did I forget? I break my spammable on my Razer Naga (in my case it's the 2) every months or two or so. Which is why I have two mouses. One is always send in for repair.
Seems as if it can't handle the thousands of clicks every day on a particular button.

The other part of the equation that isn't being mentioned is that they made the hitbox on targets smaller. Before if basically were facing their direction the abilities would hit, now you kind of need to have the cursor solidly on them to fire. So abilities that require a target vs non-targetted abilities might be part of the reason you are getting this. Light attack can fire without a target, where as dizzying swing doesn't. For example, when the patch that came that affected the hitbox came out, it was very noticeably much harder to land dizzying swing, as one example of an abilitiy where this is very noticeable. You also notice it with crushing shock weaves from far away and landing invigorating drains on players if you are too close to them.
