Crashing to desktop with one of those "submit crash report" messages (or whatever it says - the one that submits a log of the crash to ZOS and gives you a place where you can type in what you were doing when the game crashed). I've had this happen maybe 2-3 times since One Tamriel. I've also recently been noticing the game getting choppy if I've been playing for a while, even if my ping is good.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »When you guys are crashing, is it crashing all the way to your desktop, or are you just getting disconnected and put back to the login screen? Are you receiving any specific error message?

My first indication of something wrong after update 12 was screen freezes and this continues to happen daily.
In most cases the game recovered after 2 or 3 minutes but over 5 minutes I would use task manager to end task and relog.
After reading about memory leaks I have been observing the behaviour of the memory usage creep.
ESO (64 bit) starts at about 580Mb and incrementally creeps up to the 4Gb already mentioned.
At about 3.2Gb the creep stops for a while but when it restarts it goes up to the 4Gb.
After the game self recovers from a screen freeze I noted the memory usage starts new from approx 60Mb and quickly builds up to 3Gb.
While this is happening I don't need to change zones or anything more than normal activity on a single map.
It is a slight relief that this is a problem with the game as I had thought something was going wrong in my PC.

Not sure if its related but there are times in cyrodill (rarely play anywhere else) when I'm locked in a never ending load screen and memory use soars. The only solution I've found is to force quit and log into an alt then back to main.
Also eso64.exe does not die when you 'Quit' the game, it rarely closes (just sits on a black screen for a month of Sundays) without me having to kill it.
www.koshyjohn.com - memory cleaner. Been using this for years and it works like a charm.

Same here.

Something I found out since One Tamriel (perhaps longer?):
If you spend a long time in a specific zone (30+ minutes) your frames per second will slowly but surely be 'consumed' by something. If you then port to another zone, and come back, you'll once again have your original frame rate.
Example: I tend to duel in the outskirts of Rawl'kha, where I start off at around 70 fps. But after a while I'll sit at 30 fps in the exact same area. Then I port somewhere else, come back, and I have 70 fps again.
As far as I can tell, the above is true for the majority of the playerbase (if not everyone?) and the above 'fix' works for them too.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

a) Are you using addons? I've found that some of them can be shameless memory hogs.
b) Your and other players' duelling in a high traffic spot like Rawl'kha is precisely why the game launched without duelling.
Not only does it now take quite a long time for vital NPCs like the banker and stablehands to load, but you can't even use the dye station without flashy combat effects all over the place.
