ESO Has Deserted the Veteran Player

Craglorn was pretty dead on PS4 prior to 1T. The most you would see is someone in Belkarth to turn in a writ. But not once in the almost 2 years the games been out on Console have I seen any group moving through the mobs and content in Craglorn. The place was dead on arrival and I wouldnt be surprised if there was a similar issue with Craglorn on PC. Once it was no longer Endgame content there was no other reason to go there other than to turn in writs and farm nirncrux/nirnhone.

Now the place is alive and players are doing the content. Sure its no longer a Group only area but its definitely not a sign that ZOS has abandoned Veterans.

QQ... Why give everyone access to content.

-Build a bridge and get over it. This update has been amazing. As well my gold income is great. Learn to adapt.

While I have enjoyed many of the changes that One tamriel has brought, the world wide battle level sync over time is no longer appealing to me.

The joy of leveling a character is so that you can see their power grow. That tough mob over there? Gotta level up a bit more or get better gear and try another day. But now...doesn't matter. While it is great getting to go anywhere, where is that sense of accomplishment for reaching max level? Trials you say? Well seeing as how crafted, or overworld drops are just on par with all other gear, trials mean nothing unless you want the challenge of them.

I created a couple new characters and just sat there like...well even though i'm level 3, i can go take on that world boss over there...what's that, i just soloed it...well ok then......

I think for many a joy of actually leveling a character is seeing that power growth, but now, i see no point in having levels at all, it means literally nothing, when everything and you are essentially cp160. That Level number in the top left means nothing other than to restrict what gear you can equip, and even then when you hit lvl 50 *poof* you somehow level down in stats.

If you are doing that after 1T I am going to call BS on that. Sorry. Now before T1, then yes, world bosses were a joke and not worth doing. Now they require a group and joining people to take them down.

Can still solo them on my stam sorc

Naw they are still solo-able, most without much difficulty.

Please show me how to solo a world boss at level 3.

I don't know what you're talking about, I did a couple of Craglorns group delves solo at VR 1 with barely any CP and I'm not good at this game.

The only thing Craglorn did was force you to beg for someone to stand on switches which apparently they corrected in 1T...this is a good thing.

All the best gear is still locked behind veteran dungeons and they've just added a bunch of fancy new sets for those veterans

I am always confused when players try to close doors to other players in an online community environment who's success depends upon bringing in players, rather than excluding them.

If you claim to be a veteran in this game and your main complaint is craglorn, then you aren't a "veteran." You're a casual player who plays the game a lot.

Off topic but where are the yukodon motifs dropping? I have gotten the celestial motif from trials and I think 1 from the anomalies out of nowhere.

This message is directed to ZOS.
I've been an ESO Plus member since may of 2014 and I'm very disappointed in the direction the game has, and is, taken. I've
talked to many veteran members and most are not happy either. Take Craglorn for instance, it used to be a privilege, after
working your way up to veteran rank, to go there. Now every Tom, ***, & Harry can go, and believe me their there. What do you say to the veteran member who worked hard to make vet level for that privilege, and now anybody can go " sorry for your
privilege loss, your just screwed". And we are screwed because everybody and anybody is out there stripping out the farming items. Us, the veteran players, have no decent place to go to farm to make a living in the game. I'm a Certified Master in all
crafting skills, and consider myself an Armor Specialist (I can make 37 of the current 40 styles in the game and lack only
Celestial, Yokadan, and Draugr Styles). These motifs are very expensive plus you have another dozen styles on the horizon.
Where can you tell me where to go, or what to do, to make the amount of money needed to buy these. It sure isn't Craglorn
anymore. You've sold us out, the people who got you where you are today, to go after the teenagers and kiddies to broaden
your marketing share. And sadly enough they seem only to be interested in phishing scams, macros, and destroying the mar-keting values of what they can farm. Your ruining your game and you have sold us out. I am earnestly inquiring about other
MMO's because of your desertion of the long time veteran player. Oh, there is so much more I have to say (I've covered only
one aspect of how things have gone south) but I'm tired and I think you get my point.

So you are complaining about other people being in your so-called privileged zone? This is almost as lame as that Angry Joe guy complaining that he had to walk too much on a game that has a way shrine every several feet.

It sounds to me that the real reason you are pissed is because people can farm their own materials now instead of having to get ripped off by your guild for them. And if that is the case - I am not sympathetic.

Also: getting level 50 on this game is no real accomplishment. Kiddies and teenagers could always do this.

Now if you want to say that Craglorn should have remained a group-oriented zone - then I am with you.
