But this thread isn't about the communities feeling on crown crates, the OP wanted to know the odds were based on people testing them on the pts. Ranting about how the community feels and telling the op not to make threads on the subject was an incorrect rude response, especially from a community ambassador. Anyways the op got their answer and you guys already have an anti crown crate rant thread. Time to move along.

I get most people don't like change, but the hysteria over these crates is silly as there is not one skerrick of evidence that their arrival will create any of the issues the detractors' claim, certainly not P2W system.
When ZoS implements crates (and they will) the sky above Tamriel will not fall in. After a few weeks there will only be one or two diehards continuing to shake their fists at the Gods ... and no one will care. Some will be opening crates, others will just be getting on with playing a game that plays exactly the same way it did before crates appeared.

Almost no one is saying pay to win. After playing many games that have implemented these exact same things, I know I will not like where they lead. Their absence has kept me playing for 2.5 years. Their presence will end that.
Everyone has a different point where they draw the line. For me this is the point they cross it. Subscription I'm fine with. Buy 2 play with store, I can live with that as well. Eso digital casino edition, I'm out.2
