It does affect pets and others friendly npcs.

i read on another post when running 12 man trial people don't like when their are pets or shades up because it steal the spell power cure buff from other players.

so im wondering if you have for example shade and your running solo and apply a heal to your shades would you get the buff,

Because the buff is for 6 allies only, so pets can take up some of the buffs..

SPC has a cap of 6 targets getting the buff. The buff can go to shades and pets (and neutral NPCs) but will not actually affect their performance. So in a trial, a shade that gets buffed means a player who is then ineligible for a buff.

In a 4-man group, this is usually a non-issue, since you can have 2 pets running around and still give every group member the buff.

This is entirely a non-issue for solo play since it's impossible to have more than 5 pets, even after you account for pets from proc sets.

i think you guys misunderstand what i'm asking i dont have the set that's why i haven't tested it myself

what i mean is lets say im running solo in cyrodil and i see and enemy i summon shades or a pet, we already confirm that they do receive the buff from spell power cure since they steal people buff in 12 man trial

now since your by your self and your pet, thats only 3 people their, would you get the buff of 259 more spell power in this case is what im asking.

You get the SPC buff when you heal yourself with whatever ability you use.

Does SPC affect pets? Don't know.

Uh, my post had already answered your exact question. There is a 6-person limit on the SPC proc, and "stealing" happens only in situations where you are above this limit. As I said earlier, "This is entirely a non-issue for solo play".

Yes, you are included as a target to receive the buff if you heal yourself while at 100%.

Running around Cyrodiil as a solo Nightblade summoning shades, in a 5-piece light armor set designed to buff groups, is a whole different topic altogether.

Pets, on Pets... you cant direct heal a pet with rapid regen.

Rapid regen and funnel health most definitely proc Spc. My whole healing build revolves around those two HoTs. Also I think you are confused on how Spell power cure procs. It procs when the person wearing the spellpower cure heals a target that is at 100% health. The buff is then applied to the target that was healed. So the only way to get the set to proc on yourself is to heal yourself at 100% health.

ok thank for the info i didn't know that ,
i was going under the impression that since shade cant be killed then healing them at full health would not be an issue since their always at full health, and it would be as simple as summons shade hit target with funnel health and as long as one of my shade got the buff then i would receive the buff as well.

You do not receive the buff, the target would receive the buff. if you happen to be the target of the heal then you would get the buff. So in the scenario where you heal your summon shade and spellpower cure procs, the shade would get the buff but you would not. However if you healed yourself while at 100% hp then the set would proc on you and give you the buff.

Unless they have changed it, the answer is yes. I used to use SPC on my siphonblade in VMA. The buff was up constantly.
