they are same named items but different levels, and yet the stats are the same. lev 16, 19, 20 amethyst necklace and amethyst lev 19, 21 rings. all 5 of these have exact same stats. kyne's flight c20 and c40 have different stats for the stam but same for the reduce cost.

so what is going on? can someone post me a link to read, pls?

It's not so much the jewellery having the same stats as it is the auto level up that ZOS' system does to change the levels you are seeing on them when they are worn.

On my alt, I was wearing level 23 set that was auto updated with the states of CP160 Gold Jewelery. It's very confusing.

Woildnt they still have slightly different stats tho, since the base levels are different?

Not necessarily because the character screen has been changed too. Also look at them 10 levels apart of another drops later. It could be how scaling applies to jewelry that didn't exist at lower levels.

Looking at some jewelry on my lvl 37 alt right now...

Necklace lvl 28, ring 1 lvl 29, ring 2 lvl 31. All green quality, all Robust.

    Necklace - Adds 620 stam
    Ring 1 - Adds 640 stam
    Ring 2 - Adds 680 stam

So there is a clear increase in stats based on the item's base level. These particular rings happen to be part of a 5 piece set and what doesn't change is the set piece bonuses - those are the same values for each piece.

Also, enchantment (stam recovery for example) values vary depending on the quality of the glyph that was applied, so those could very well be the same on items of different levels.

This is all because of Battle leveling.

In order to "boost" your stats as a low level character, the low level items will give you slightly better stats than max level items, because you are always fighting max level monsters.

However, some bonuses don't scale, and will always remain the same. I believe the stam cost reduction is one of those fixed bonuses.

Might be easier for people to figure out if there were images of some sort to show what the issue is. 'Amethyst' isn't actually a 'named' item, it's a generic description, much like 'steel helm' or 'glass sword'. It's entirely possible that those rings and necklaces don't actually scale every level, but within a specific range.

Yeah pics would be helpful. They need to be hosted on a third party site like imgur

What are all the exact stats of these jewelry pieces and what quality (colour) are they?

What are all the exact stats of these jewelry pieces and what quality (colour) are they?

    they are green quality.

amethyst necklace of reduced feat cost levs 16,19,20 all have stats:
robust increase max stam by 800 and reduce stam cost by 167

amethyst ring of reduce feat cost lev 19,21 both have stats:
robust increase max stam by 800 and reduce stam cost by 167

maybe this has always been as i dont usually mess with the generic jewelry. but i was cleaning out my bank and these were there and i noticed this.

then there are the 2 rings of kyne's flight. both green robust.
c20 has 810 incr max stam and reduce stam cost by 167
c40 has 800 incr max stam and reduce stam cost by 167.

I'm even more confused now because your level 16-20 jewelry has better stats than my level 28-31 jewelry. Haha.. has to be something to do with scaling.

I think that at lower levels the scaling is increased to make up for having less attribute points and passive skills. That still doesn't really answer your original question though.

I think it has to do with our traits and enchants are applied. Enchants have a level range they can apply to. ie. A truly superb glyph can be applied only on CP160 stuff but a Superb Glyph which is a step down can be applied to either CP150 or CP160 items. It sounds like the amethyst pieces you have OP are in the same level range for their respective traits and enchants meaning they will provide the same buffs. As for the Kyne's Flight rings, that might be the scaling coming into affect
