    It seems most agree. Now it is up to ZoS to change something.

    vMA came out a year ago. Many competitive and loyal end-game players quit ESO over it after 1000+ runs without appropriate reward.

    It's time.

    Ran it max 80 times and have everything in sharpen and precise - Just RNG and but yeah kinda agree.

    I have to agree with you OP.. Even I am getting rather bored with this game. I am tired of the grind, grind, grind. Tired of receiving Properous and Training on 90% of the drops from Vet dungeons. Got 2 Automaton gloved yestersay, both were properous.

    ZOS really needs to implement something in the game that allows crafters to "RETRAIT" gear.

    It feels a lot of the time like one step forward and two back when it comes to CP changes. I am at a point of frustration. It isn't fun to level any more. All this RNG stuff has totally sucked the fun out of the game for me.
    Far too many characters to list any more.

    RNG loot progression is the thing I hated MOST about WoW, and is the thing I hate most about farming in MMO's in general.

    As someone that is currently growing incredibly bored of World of Warcraft for this very reason and decided to come back to this game. I am saddened by this post. I haven't played ESO in over a year and I barely played it but I'm so very sick of WoW and the RNG they have put in that game. You can do hours of content for nothing. Then have to do it again next week, for nothing.. All you do is hope, constant hope that what you want drops... Why is RNG the new thing in all these mmos?

    If you make a game that people want to play and have fun in you wouldn't have to add in "fake" content by prolonging the life of the game by making everything RNG.
    Today is a blessing. Yesterday is in the past and tomorrow is a mystery.

You would be surprised how much money and time they devote to understanding and shaping player's psychology when they are engaged in playing games. Game development companies are no longer about "fun" for the player it's hardcore maximum profits attitude. Some devs who work at these places may want to make things "fun" but they are told to do other wise, else they get terminated.

    That + the copy every other successful mmo ....to lesser or greater degree.

    The problem with ESO is, that it took them 1-2 years to implement things other mmo's have from the start, and they have pvp, which starts a whole new level of balancing problems. It's also based on the TES universe, so a lot of fans of TES games joined ESO, who are mainly used to singleplayer games and not mmo's.

    Just because other games have terrible RNG and grinding mechanics, does not mean ESO has to.

    Generally the loot system in ESO is good compared to other games (personal loot + share in group).

    That's all well and good, but the Loot tables are filled by so many junk items/sets and making all the items BoP (in Dungeons/trials) is a problem. Usually the whole group is after the same set and it still takes ages of mindlessly grinding the dungeons to get the peaces you want. This problem used to exist before One Tamriel (vMA traits anybody?) but got so much worse with this patch.

    If we don't get a Token System, we at least need an intelligent loot system. Fast. No more Defending vMA Daggers or Viper Lightnings Staffs.

    Yep, it's frustrating and the developers do not care about bad RNG. I have been playing vWGT a few times a week since release and still don't have a full set of divines. In fact I still have an SURDY chest piece . Most all of my drops are essence thief, and if it's SPC it's usually TRAINING - PROSPEROUS or WELL-FITTED.

    If there is any reason I quit this game it will be for the following:

    1. TERRIBLE RNG - it gets boring farming the same dungeon all the time.
    2. INVENTORY MINI GAME - I am a sub and am still sick of the lack of inventory space. I will seriously stop playing over that as well.

    I can;t believe I'm the only one that would quit for those two reasons. It's dumb they would actually choose to lose business over those two issues.

    Yes RNG is the most frustrating aspect (besides the PVP meta). If they continue down this road.. not sure if I will have the will to stay (even though I enjoy the game. But rewarding loot is an elemental aspect of MMOs - at least IMO).

    You guys must have terrible luck.

    RNG has never treated me this bad.. First day of the festival i got both masks and 3 bloody mara recipes. I have an extra mask ill sell after the festival for some good money. Took me a week to get a sharpened spriggan mace. I have a bunch of sharpened and precise weapons in the spriggan's thorns set.

    Although i would agree, they need to take out training for people that are CP160 and up. Prosperous needs to go as well, there was a test done, someone ran all impen armor and prosperous on the same run; and found that impen actually makes more money than prosperous. by the time you need to repair your impen gear youve already saved more in repairs than prosperous would have made you.

    I could see how they could fix prosperous though. If you ran a full prosperous set, it should multiply the gold picked up by 10. so if you usually picked up 4 gold, youd get 40 gold. That way people would actually use it because you could make way too much gold a day and that would make prosperous worth something.

    That's the thing with RNG. Some will be lucky, others will never get what they want in a reasonable time.
