No offense to any Argonians out there but that style is just hideous, there is nothing like having all this nice armor and you have to put on a dropped set like Elfbane or Viper and look as if you're wearing flipflops with heavy armor.
Pllleeeeeeaaaaase make this a thing?

They said recently that there are no current plans to add this.

I see at least three threads like this every day. I don't mean it in a bad way, because I too, for a long time, was an advocate of a transmog or restyle system in the game. It wasn't until the AMA, where the devs said that they had no plans for it, that I accepted that ZOS just isn't going to do something that involves a lot of coder time and doesn't generate profit for them directly.
In fact, this system would probably hurt their profit, since many people use costumes because armor looks like crap (usually forced into heavy chest pieces and monster pieces, for example). It's as simple as that! Housing, by nature, if a very 'cosmetic' mmorpg feature, and it will, therefore, generate revenues directly or indirectly. Furniture has already been data-mined for the crown store, even if the basic essentials seem to be craftable and purchaseable in gold.
I think people understand this intuitively, which is why many have resorted to suggesting that they'd be willing for it to be tied to the crown store if need me. This sucks, because it's such a fundamental feature that I can't believe we don't have or will be getting it. There are so many amazing styles, delicately designed by a team, and they're just books collecting dust in crafter's archives.
*I wish that ZOS would set aside the revenue from the crown store exclusive motifs and use that money to develop a system like this for crafters. As it stands, crafters are pretty forgotten community. In most builds, drop gear plays a more essential role than crafted gear. So our already high risk business is now even less demanded.
