    They're not bad. They're bad for endgame.

    I use nothing but Training from 1-50 on all my alts, it definitely has a use.

    Training has it's uses but prosperous it's actually really bad, end game or not seeing as how another trait, impenetrable has been tested to save you more gold than you will gain with prosperous. It is literally a pointless trait.

    :), while I agree with you, that the picture is pretty funny, in the same time it would be really nice if you would change all loot tables so that prosperous and training would drop only for non-vet characters and vets would get impen and divines or infused instead ;)

    Someone else had this idea, and I'm building on it......

    Each trait should have a combat and a non-combat edge to it. So, you could combine some of traits together, and add more for improved game diversity.

    For example, at sub-level 50, Training could help you level in combat, but combine it with Prosperous. That's a reasonable combat benefit and non-combat benefit.

    Examples of traits that might be useful include: Treasure Seeker increases the level of items found in treasure chests; Crafty Crafter increases the chance of receiving useful mats when deconstructing or refining; Alchemical Warrior adds 10% to any potion taken during combat;

    Equally, if you're not going to sort out traits, stop dropping max-level gear in traits that no-one wants - it's just pointless and frustrating. It doesn't make finding your "ideal' gear more satisfying, people just get fed up at having to grind a dungeon 50 times, battling RNG more than mobs. Personally, like many people I know, I don't bother as the grind is just too frustrating. I simply use something else, usually something where I can buy the rest of the items in the set.

    As someone kindly pointed out, prosperous is actually useless (mathematically), and training has specific uses, for the rare person that would actually wear a set of that from 1-50 (even though there are far easier accelerants for leveling than crafting or farming repeated sets of that).

    Overall, for anyone who is even remotely interested in endgame, ranging from vet dungeons to competitive PVP, those traits are, factually, universally, undesired and plain bad.

    These traits should remain in crafted gear only, so that people like you, who see value in them can use them, while everyone else is spared the grief.

    Like what? Everything else costs either real money or at least a few thousand gold. Crafting a Training set took a few minutes and was dirt cheap in comparison because I already had the mats. I can now pass it down to new alts for free. It's an excellent boost while grinding and can be combined with other XP boosts if you want to level up even faster.

    How long does it take to get to 50, really? And is that time proportionate to the amount of time you'll spend over CP cap?

    Absolutely not. There's some serious cognitive dissonance happening with a few people on this thread, who refuse to see they're in the minority. It's fine that you may have found a use for these commonly loathed traits. Do realize that almost everyone else hates them.

    Surely there's a middle ground that can be reached? (Putting them on crafted gear only.)

    No no no, you got me all wrong. I think Training is a great crafted trait in 1-50, but I don't want it in cp160 trait table and I certainly wouldn't waste my time farming any sets in Training. If ZOS wants to help new players by giving them access to looted Training items, they should do so through quest rewards (but they probably just wanted to dilute the trait table to keep us grinding).

    Keep the loot tables introduce token gear vendors for both pvp and pve. Get rid of the exclusive RNG. I would rather grind dungeons 25 times to get 1 peice of gear with the trait I want, than 50 times and get 50 peices of gear with traits I dont want

    Training is fine on crafted and level 1-49 gear. Heck maybe even cp150 gear and below. But yeah definitely no need for it on cp160 reward gear from pledges and such.
