    A good poll question for sure and I find it interesting how many magicka votes there are when it seems like the vast majority of players are playing stamina builds.

    Now I'm curious to see a poll something like:
    - I play magicka and love magicka builds
    - I play stamina and love stamina builds
    - I play magicka but would rather it be stamina
    - I play stamina but would rather it be magicka

    I'd have to go with my main, who's a magicka sorcerer. My playtime on him is more than it is on my other characters combined, and find him to be the most versatile.

    Probably a healer, so naturally I'd gravitate towards the magicka templar.

    Tank would be my second choice; I much prefer playing support roles to direct damage.

    Odd coming from someone with 3 mag templars, but mDK if there's just one. Magplars are versatile and well-round, but mDK is just more fun.

    I haven't tried mag nightblade yet though.

    StamDK! I enjoy close-range melee, being in the thick of it all, and melting their faces off with DoTs. And if I am to completely ignore Meta, I'd be a Dual Wield and Sword and Board wielding Stamina Damage-dealing Dragonknight.

    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    I'd say that point is a reflection of the lack of balance, and the lack of addressing, or even replying to anyone that brings it up by the balance team.

    As you said, it's interesting that most people seem to prefer Magicka builds (I count myself among those) but nearly everyone is running Stamina - no doubt in an exasperated effort to stay relevant, which is sad. Right now preference for a Magicka build is winning the vote 132-61, which is a massive contrast to what's actually being played in the game at the moment and for the last 6 months.

    If I could only have made one character at the start, it would've been a stamNB because I always play a thief in Elder Scrolls games.

    My main atm is a magplar tho, the only character I've finished Gold and the DLC's with. It would be tough to choose between the two now. I'd hate to lose my NB but I'd probably go with my Temp because she's my crafter - if I had to do all that research again I think I'd lose the will to live!

    The forum population is less than 1% of the actual ESO playerbase. Not even large enough for an adequate sample size.

    Hmm depends.... sometimes I feel supportive (templar healer) - sometimes I feel black and bad (magica nightblade) - but right now and for a while I have felt feisty and strong (stamina sorceror).

    So I can't choose just one

    mSorc (first character since early start + 19,6k achievements) or mDk (really insane dps (sorcs can't do that much) but retired + 6k achievements)

    Fair point. Without sounding conceited, I'd say the skill level, and time spent playing is going to be a lot higher with people on these forums than the general ESO popn, as if you seek out and remain active on the forums you're obviously quite into the game. I think most can agree there is more to magicka specs than there is for Stam specs.

    I personally find it much more satisfying playing Magicka builds, even now. There's nothing more satisfying than pulling 1v2, 1v3's with Mag DK :)

    Definitely still needs a PVP damage buff though B)
